- BETTER RESULTS W/ UNIQUE PULSATING FEATURE: Enerzen’s circuit board adjusts fan speed and ozone output throughout treatment, creating a “pulsating” effect. This aids in removing stubborn “musty” or imbedded odors and results in longer lasting treatments.
- DEODORIZES AREAS YOU CAN’T REACH: Ozone does not require air passing through the machine to deodorize.
- COMMON USES: Deodorize cars, boats, dumpsters, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, flood and fire affected areas, as well as any cooking, smoking, pet, “musty”, or general odors.
- EASY OPERATION: Set the ozone output. Turn the timer knob. Leave the space. When ozone generation is finished, allow an additional 30 minutes for any residual ozone to revert back to breathable air.
- WARNING: All ozone generators are meant to be operated in unoccupied spaces only. Remove any people, pets, or plants. The space may be re-occupied after 30 minutes of “airing out”. Not available for sale in California. EPA Est. No.: 94263-CHN-1

Hopefully you already did the research and you’re certain you __NEED__ an Ozone generator. If you didn’t, you should – Ozone probably doesn’t do what you think it does and it’s probably inappropriate for your situation – and I can say that with better than 75% confidence. Most people are under the illusion that Ozone destroys odors and makes things “fresh”. Wrong. Ozone is NOT an air ‘freshener’ OR an air ‘purifier’ – in fact, it has more in common with SMOG than it does fresh air! Ozone is a toxic (yes, TOXIC) gas that enables rapid oxidation of certain organic compounds in heavy [usually very unsafe] concentrations. But in this case, the cure might be worse than the disease, so PLEASE, PLEASE do your research first and learn about what this machine makes before jumping in and filling your home up with Toxic O3 gas. Visit the EPA’s web site to learn what Ozone is and isn’t BEFORE you buy this machine.
This machine is a monster. If you need O3 in concentration from a compact sized machine, this definitely gets the job done. It’s quiet, compact and monstrously effective at making toxic O3 gas. O3 production is variable, from OFF to “maximum/100%”, but I found that even at its lowest setting, it still makes an enormous amount of Ozone. We use it to control pet odors and deep fryer smell, and while it does both very well, it might cause more harm than good in certain cases. Any space this gets used in must be absolutely devoid of ANYTHING living – including fish, plants, pets, people, alien life forms, food (i.e., fruits), zenomorphs, expensive artwork, fresh stickers you care about, screen-printed clothes, etc… It is VERY good at killing life – especially plants that often get forgotten about: They might look fine the morning after, then they die an uncontrollable death several days later.
The Ozone created by the Enerzen Ozone generator does NOT purify air – the small HEPA filter on the back of the unit does. Also, the generated Ozone does NOT “sterilize” anything – the small internal UV bulb does. The internal fan runs at a fixed speed and is fairly quiet. The timer on the front supports 0-24 hour operation, or HOLD. Ozone generation is variable from OFF to 100%, but it is very unclear is the dial percentage markers actually match Ozone production from 0 to 15kmg/h (i.e., does 50% actually equal 7,500mh/h?).
Exposure to the high concentrations of O3 created by this unit irritates eyes, nose, throat and lungs and could take you several WEEKS to recover from – so be aware of where people are in relation to where the machine is running. Understand that it can and does go through vents to adjacent rooms, and even small amounts can cause serious headaches and respiratory problems.
This machine is an equal-opportunity destroyer: It will destroy cells in your lungs, throat and sinus, damage skin, eyes and other tissues, and get rid of certain organic odors. Make sure you “really” need O3 and not just a good cleaning or a an actual HEPA air filter units instead.
Buying this unit for air purification or air filtration purposes is a mistake. The HEPA filter on the back of the unit is far too small to make any kind of remarkable difference, and the UV bulb inside the unit is too low-wattage to effectively sterilize any significant volume of air. I essentially treat both of these two features as gimmicks when it comes to the designed purpose of this machine – to produce massive amounts of Ozone.
Buyer beware! DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!

The office in the house I just rented reeked of tobacco smoke. It was so bad that it made my eyes water. The landlord had already shampooed the carpet and painted the walls. She reimbursed me to buy this machine. After 2 overnight 8-hour sessions, the odor was completely gone. Amazing. The odor hasn’t come back. This worked way better than my expectations. I am not sure the cheaper units will do the job as well. They only run for 3 hours, and may not produce enough ozone. Ozone generators are apparently banded California on the bizarre theory that they cause air pollution. They do the opposite. And they eliminate a documented health hazard. There is evidence that long term exposure to this “thirdhand smoke” can cause cancer.

I am a Realtor. I bought a house that had been home to 4 dogs. I removed all of the carpeting in the house and still could not get rid of the urine and pet smell. The flooring company refused to lay the new flooring until the smell was abated. I bought this as a last resort. Wow, it worked great. I had to do two 4-hour treatments but the urine odor is gone. New flooring looks great! I’m going to do occasional treatments just to keep my home fresh.

We recently had a house fire. We could not get the smoke/fire smell out of the house. I did research and talked to a neighbor who use to clean houses, both suggested an ozone. I researched for several weeks trying to pick one to match our space and situation. This model was perfect, i followed the directions on the suggested settings for the space of an entire upstairs) two bedrooms, bathroom, attic and small sitting area. I made sure there were no living objects (plants, pets, etc). Then, we left it run overnight in an unoccupied house. It worked beautifully. I wore a mask upon entering the room, opened windows and left the area to air out for about an hour. I have only positives about this ozone. I also, used it in my car to get rid of the smoke/fire smell that built up from transporting the fire damaged items in hot summer heat. Yes, it made my car smell so clean. Just make sure you let the space you used it in air out for at least an hour before reoccupying that space with anything living from people to pets to plants. We used it the basements to get rid of mold and mildew smell. Yep you got it, it got rid of the smell. I also love that its easy and small enough to store for the future. This model is unique and extremely versatile because it can do extra large spaces but also can be adjusted for small spaces like a bathroom, a closet, or even a car. Directions were easy and it was easy to use. I am extremely grateful for products like this.

I didn’t think it was doing what it was supposed when I first got it but still used it. After doing some research I found out what it should have been doing but didn’t, not talking about not smelling odors or anything. It never had an ozone residue odor which it should have, never had any effect whatsoever I actually stood there with it at 100% and nothing, BTW I should have had trouble breathing and an overwhelming ozone odor (BTW ozone has a very distinctive odor). In closing I would say this is a terrible product and if becomes available again avoid it. The reason I got it was because I needed to get rid of mold spores and other air borne contaminants after being diagnosed with lung disease, I’ll have to find a better one, brand, I guess.
