I wanted to deodorize my car, which unfortunately had a water leak leading to some wet carpet padding. That stuff takes forever to resolve. This little unit is crazy strong, and it does exactly what it claims: puts out a ton of ozone on a timer, completely cordless once it’s charged.
The caveats for any ozone generator apply here: don’t use it in spaces that are occupied because ozone is bad for you, so set it and leave the area until it stops, and thoroughly air it out afterwards before reoccupying the space.
It takes a half hour or so after opening the car up for the ozone and aftereffect smells to dissipate (whatever the byproducts are of the ozone breaking down the odor-causing chemicals), but once it is done airing out, the car smells much fresher and the effects last quite a long time, as long as the source of the odor has been fixed (no more leaks, etc.). After a few uses, it seems like most of the odor is finally permanently gone.
Absolutely worth the money.

I never write Amazon reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due and this machine was so helpful to me that I hope it will help others. Disclaimer – before using this in any space vacate the space and make sure no pets are in there!! It produces alot of ozone and is very toxic.
So, background. I bought a preowned Lexus on Tuesday and it is now Saturday. Gorgeous car inside and out. It smelled a little “off” at the dealer, but I attributed it to their cleaners. Well, after one day the cleaners wore off to reveal the WORST cologne/ stale/maybe tobacco even, who knows smell. I couldn’t believe it. I dreaded getting in the car, it made my throat sore, and I was so stressed about the smell I started crying.
So, I rolled up my sleeves and started researching. I learned that to truly eliminate a smell, you need ozone. I landed on this machine because it is portable and powerful, but not too powerful. I also did a lot of research on different methods, and ended up kind f combining some things. This is what I did:
1. Unboxed, read manual, and charged.
2. Prepped car. Mine had been detailed so it was super cleaned. Opened up glove box, visors, sunroof cover, pulled out seatbelts, etc.
3. At night, ran the machine for 4 hours. I read that ozone is most powerful at night, because UV breaks it down.
4. In morning, grabbed machine, and charged it.
3. Ran the machine for 15 minutes with heat, AC, and circulation on.
4. Waited an appropriate time, then grabbed machine, turned Car off (to be cautious don’t inhale) and rolled down windows.
5. Let car air out for a longgg time with windows down.
It worked!! I was very dubious. I was going to do another round, but this process takes alot of time with airing out etc.
It still leaves the lingering sent off ozone, need it to air out.
As said, definitely consult manual to be cautious!!

The rubber buttons started to slip behind the casing of this Ozone generator from the get go! I used it 3 or 4 times to take cigarette smoke out of my car. I was told it was a very complicated ordeal to change my Fiesta’s cabin filter, and being a perpetual smoker (my nerve sticks), I purchased this item and planned to use it several times a week. The few times I was able to use this, it did a marvelous job clearing smoke smell! Then”on” rubber button, which was never attached and washed to click on, slipped all the way behind the casing – whichI was able to retrieve with tweezers, while waiting on troubleshooting advice or return instructions! I fooled with this thing for 10minutes and was finally able to get it to turn on one more time! Next time I tried, I gave up! The manufacturer, The SainStore, kept messaging me thru Amazon and my pics and a video apparently would NOT go thru that format?! I kept asking to send these attached via email? Finally, an Amazon representative said that since I was trying to have this resolved for over a month and it was passed return by date (on purpose?) they would email me a free return label to get a refund! And get this, I just ordered another rechargeable ozone generator from same manufacturer (I have to have generator for work, sometimes)! But this one has permanent “click on” buttons! So I am praying my review on this new unit will be a glowing one?! Finger’s crossed!

Shocking output. Really good for what it does and creates ions at a volume of machines I have 3x the size of this one. This was a surprise. The portability factor really seals the deal. Durability remains to be seen, but it appears to be well built.

I went through many other brands of Chinese junk before finding this one. It is head & shoulders above the rest. I will be buying another one for myself to keep in my vehicle as it comes with the car charger too. Finally one without a junky USB micro charger but a solid state 12V DC adapter. Cordless operation, solid construction with a nice rubber outer protective case. Works standing up, lying down & comes with a heavy duty hanger for your blind or tree stand. Multiple operating modes yet simple to use, great battery life and just the right amount of output for removing odors from hunting clothing quickly at home or in the field. Just toss it in a covered bin with your clothes in it & push the button. It’s so nice NOT to have to wash your hunting clothes all the time to get them scent free and have you seen the prices of hunting laundry detergent these days?
Great in and around the house too, got rid of all the car odors, got the musty smell out of my basement rec room as well as the locker room smell out of my teenage son’s bedroom. All the brands from the hunting companies are not nearly as well made as this one is and way overpriced for what they are, you can’t beat this one for $70. I know I have been shopping them & trying multiple brands & units for several years now, trust me you won’t be disappointed with this one. And their customer service is great too, something that is sorely lacking from most companies these days.
