The device is very powerful. I tested it in a small room, it worked for only 5 minutes, and then I thoroughly ventilated the room and all foreign smells (tobacco, kitchen, rotten) disappeared. I am very pleased with the test result. Of course, if the smells are old, ingrained, then much more time will be needed.

This little machine is amazing at eliminating odors in my workshop. I tried it out the first time after cleaning several large striped bass which are a strong smelling fish. I set the unit for a three hour cycle, pressed start, and left the building as the unit gave its warning beeps that the cycle was about to begin. Twelve hours later, I opened the shop door and, to my surprise, no fish odor. As others have described, the ozone produced by the unit leaves a smell similar to that of the outside air after a thunder shower.
I would highly recommend following the instructions about leaving during the cycle and not returning until all the ozone has dissipated. Several hours would be optimal, as ozone can cause serious lung issues. I’ve had this unit for several months and have run numerous cycles with no issues – always leaving the building before the unit starts and not returning for several hours after the cycle is complete. If operated properly, it will get rid of your odor problem. Another advantage is that it will kill insects, particularly pesky gnats and fruit flies.
Observe the safety precautions, and this unit will be a great asset in your battle against unwanted odors.

Had 9 skunks had under house. Hired a trapper to get rid of the skunks, but the smell was still awful inside the house. This is a rental property that people are paying five grand a week for. I tried every cleaner possible previously, and it still didn’t get rid of the smell. Then finally I used this for an hour and 20 minutes in an enclosed bedroom that was the real problem and it got rid of the smell. I let the room air out for 60 minutes after I used it (put window AC on and ceiling fan). I took it home with me because I don’t want my renters to leave it on by accident and kill their pets or themselves. I wish I knew about this sooner. I had to take three trips over which involved ferry rides, and everything. I wish I knew about this thing earlier. Buy one if want to get rid of bad smells.

Great for regular home use. We have kids and animals and do not use air fresheners or plug-ins due to fragrance sensitivity so it can get a little funky and smoke smell in the house.
I plug this in, close off the room, and run it for the time specified in the manual. When it’s finished， open a window and turn on a standing fan aimed out the window. Close the door back up and let it air out for at least 20-30 minutes before anyone is allowed in that room. The machine does leave behind a distinct smell but it dissipates and isn’t bothersome. My house smells clean and refreshed after aired out.
You don’t have to believe me it did work it even fooled my smoke-sniffing brother who hates cigarettes so bad he will tell you straight out you smell like an ashtray and ride you on the subject for hours lol.. he asked me if I quit and I said no, I said I’m trying, he said where did the smoke smell in here go? And I showed him. And yes I am trying to quit. Anyway, I would highly recommend this product you won’t regret it and since there is no smoke smell in here it’s been getting easier to cut back to the point of quitting. Just buy it you’ll see.
Overall this machine was a great investment. Value for money and very easy to use! Absolutely works and is amazing! I will recommend this digital ozone generator to my friends.

This is a total piece of garbage. Description leaves impression unit can be programmed to run for 5 or 10 minutes every day but it doesn’t allow you to program it like that. Only lets you turn it on for 5 or 10 min OR program it to run the entire time 6/12/18/24 hours. Would be great if I could ozone my room for 5 min while I’m at work everyday… but it can’t do that unless I start it everyday before I leave
Aside from that disappointment – this unit is garbage and display died in less than 2 weeks!

I bought this to kill some fleas my cat brought into the house. I left my house for the day with my cat and set the timer. When u came home I couldn’t find any living fleas and after I aired out the ozone my house smelled better than it ever has! It’s perfect for sterilizing and deodorizing! Great purchase!
