- 3-stage Filtration: This air scrubber features a three-stage filtration system consisting of a pre-filter (MERV-10), carbon filter, and H13 HEPA filter. It effectively clears dust, pollen, smoke, and odors, while also capturing 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. This results in quick improvements to indoor air quality and a more pleasant living environment.
- 550 CFM Airflow: This negative air machine features a high-efficiency copper motor that is longer-lasting and more stable. With a 15.5” intake and 8.5” outlet, this air purifier provides optimal purification. It has a filtration area of 2150 cubic feet and a maximum airflow of 550 CFM (adjustable), ensuring that the entire room benefits from cleaner air.
- User-friendly Control Panel: The control panel makes it easy to operate the air purifier’s functions, including adjusting the airflow range, setting a resettable timer, and activating a circuit breaker for overheat protection. Additionally, it has an indicator light that illuminates to remind you when it’s time to change the filter.
- Plug and Work: No assembly is required; simply plug it in and it’s ready to use. You’ll find two auxiliary sockets on the panel, allowing you to daisy chain up to 3 units with a combined airflow speed of 1650 CFM. This makes it ideal for heavy restoration work in multiple rooms.
- Widely Used: The air scrubber weighs only 35 pounds and features a foldable handle, making it easy for one person to carry and stack in a corner when not in use. It is perfect for use in areas where air quality is a concern, such as during home painting, at construction sites, for sewage remediation, fire restoration, house repair, etc.

These air scrubbers are exactly as I had hoped.. functional and affordable! I would recommend them over the higher priced machines.

Was very impressed how well this worked it kept the dust contained and the odors down until everything was taken care of

I used this during rehabbing in my house and it seemed to keep the debris contained and the air cleaner

The filters are generic 16x16x1 and much cheaper and easier to get then others special size at 2-3 times the cost

This is the fourth time I’ve had to replace one of these Vevor units. They are a bit cheaper than the competition but that’s because the quality is lower. After spending over $1,500.00 on multiple replacements of this exact unit, we’ve decided to switch back to a more expensive competitors brand because it holds up much better in the long run.
The first thing to understand is this product runs great until it’s time to replace the HEPA filter. After you replace one or two of them the product will start to malfunction. The electronics and sensors start to fail and you’re left with a unit that randomly turns off, won’t start, gets a weird alert and starts to beep nonstop, or the reset button goes bad. We’ve had four of these units and every single one has experienced these failures.
We used to think it was how some of our crews were handling the units but I watched over this last one like a baby, never took any damage. And low-and-behold after only 3 months it failed after one HEPA filter replacement.
Everyone should watch out there’s a reason why this unit is $100 bucks cheaper everywhere you go. This unit is made cheap, is hard to find filters for, and has lots of defects.
Wish I could be leaving a good review, but this is the experience we’ve had.

Turned on every night since purchase month prior. Wake up to fresh smell every day

Excellent air scrubber! It’s decently quiet as well, which is great for home owners.
I don’t care for the front door to the filters though. The door always pops open because it’s made of foam, not rubber, which suctions the door closed against the hard plastic.
Not a deal breaker though, completely worth it.

I was going to buy a Mounto, which are top-notch industry leading air scrubbers. In my case my plan was to modify mine a bit so I went with this cheaper unit which uses the same exact filters as the Mounto 500. This is the one to get for your hobbyist workshop.
Don’t be fooled by the Alorair or Abestorm 500 CFM units which use a 1 inch pre filter and a combo HEPA/carbon that is 1 inch HEPA and 1 inch carbon. The Mounto, and this Vevor unit, use a true 2 inch thick 16×19 HEPA filter and most importantly YOUR CHOICE of one or two inches of pre filters held in by convenient spring arms. The Vevor comes with one 1x16x16 MERV-10 and one 1x16x16 carbon honeycomb, or you can use a much more efficient 2x16x16 prefilter if you dont need the carbon! This is true of both the Vevor and the Mounto.
I have to appreciate Vevor for designing their own product instead of copycatting Mounto. The larger inlet size is great for my needs. I love the fully removable and 4 side latched front case instead of Mounto’s hinge design. The motor speed controller is terrible on this, the timer counts hours plugged in not hours running, and the replace filter sensor is actually just a safety switch that wont let the unit run if the HEPA cartridge is not in the unit. The motor controller is a cheap Triac feeding a chopped AC to a good 3 phase motor with capacitor. The full on position is not fully on and causes the motor to hum badly at all speeds, this eventually will degrade the controller or burn out the motor.
I recommend professionals buy the real Mounto instead! Much better electronics!

Better dust, fume, and VOC abatement –
My use is for a studio workshop where no exhaust is possible. I use a 2x16x16 pre filter instead as a dust collection filter, and as you can see in picture, I then ducted mine to a large carbon canister post filter with 8 inch flex foil duct … Just remove the outlet grid and spiral duct fits inside the outlet and again fits inside the end of the 8 inch opening carbon canister. Well over 10x the carbon and the velocity through the carbon is much lower and more effective. (If you’re working with even worse fumes, you can duct a 10 inch flex over the outlet and use a 10 inch canister). Canisters are affordable, and refillable if you are up to the mess.
Inlet ducting –
Despite the odd shape of the foam insert, you have room to cut out multiple inlets. I cut three 4 inch and press fit the connectors in the very sturdy foam.
Dont run this at anything other than full speed if you want the motor to last.

UNPLUG DEVICE FIRST…
:eyeroll:
Remove or controller, timer, and LED. Safety switch blue wire to motor blue wire. Connect motor red wire to white neutral side of outlet. Connect red safety switch wire to black line side of outlet. Replace cover. Put your new filter up and out of the way with the super long included cord. Plug the cord into an outlet adapter switch or a smartplug for remote control. Suddenly the motor is silent and will last much longer not being underdriven!
