The POWIFY 118 OZ Dehumidifier for Home Quiet Small Dehumidifier works wonderfully in our bathroom that has no fan. We have tried different dehumidifier units large and small but this one is my favorite. It’s not heavy and bulky, nor is it too small to be effective.
This unit really is fairly quiet. You can hear the hum in the video and notice that the sound is quite soft. The color variation is cool. There is even a setting for rotating the colors. It’s nice to have a feature like that in a functional type of device.
The only downside is that the cord could be longer. Our outlet is 60” inches from the floor. The unit to the outlet is 49.5” and JUST reaches. Also, we have to turn the dehumidifier backwards to get a more effective draw of moisture from the air. We’ve done this with other units we tried so it’s really no big deal, especially since you can see through both sides of the water tank.
Overall, I am happy. The right size, draws moisture well, easy on the eyes, and not loud at all.

This is a really nice modern dehumidifier.
I’ve been dealing with some humidity around my home and am looking for a mechanical way to get some of that moisture out of the air.
This humidifier is pretty great on multiple levels. One it has a neat modern appearance which means that it will fit in anywhere without standing out. it is fully square/rectangular so you can fit it into a corner or on a shelf which adds to the convenience factor.
I really love how streamlined this machine is. I’m in the habit of always reading the instruction manual but I still really love when a product is intuitive and works with the understanding of the consumer. This was pretty great.
Take it out of the box and you just plug it in immediately. The cable has a small compartment built into the back of the machine which means when its not in use you’re not dealing with an annoying extended cable getting tangled. Pop the chamber door, unwind the cable and then just plug in. There’s a nice little opening where you can pull the cable taut and everything still fits.
Once plugged in the on button is clearly visible and easy to push and it comes on immediately.
So far so good.
From there I only needed to consult the instruction manual to see how to increase the fan speed/absorption and how to change the LED color. All in all took me 5 minutes and I was super impressed by how easy the whole process was.
Once it was on the machine was basically totally silent and I feel better seeing its working. This would be great for an office.

I live in an apartment in northern California (cool, wet & foggy…) with floor to ceiling windows and every fall/winter I deal with condensation issues and water accumulation on the panes. I ordered this to place at the base and was pleasantly surprised at how well and how quickly this unit cleared up the condensation. I placed it between a couch and the window with enough space for proper ventilation and within 20 minutes, the windows were clear.
As with most of these smaller, shoe box sized dehumidifiers, they work great in smaller, confined areas like bathrooms, closets or corners. They claim to work up to 800 square feet, but if you have a space that large, I’d recommend you invest in a larger unit made for 2000+ square feet to really make a noticeable difference. A larger unit won’t have to run continuously to keep up with the humidity and may end up saving electricity in the long run.
The size of this unit is quite compact and the 118oz tank means you could theoretically run it for a few days before having to empty it. Of course, it also has an auto shut-off when full and the lights are pretty, if that’s important to you. Overall, a good investment for the right space.

I needed a dehumidifier just to cut the humidity down in the RV. I have tried a couple of smaller ones and though one of the, worked well it just didn’t pull enough of the water out of the air that we needed, especially when it rains. We have a smaller RV, 30 feet, so the space I am using it in is much smaller then the max space it is designed for. So far this one is pulling water out of the air nicely for the size and power it has.
It was easy to set up and had some nice design features. The plug is nicely wrapped behind a grate on the back of the machine, so no loosing the cord and it has a nice place to store it. The water bucket is easy to remove and empty and the controls on the are easy to use. It has an instruction book that is easy to read and easy to understand. They come with light settings which I love for the soft effect and there is a timer if you want it. There are 2 levels of to dehumidify also, one is a little louder then the other. It has a soft sound as it runs, which I like for the background noise.
It arrived very well packaged. Made in China.
So far it is working great!

I have this running in my basement. Definitely undersized for that which is on me but this thing works pretty well despite that. Probably better for a bedroom.

Don’t let the size of this dehumidifier fool you. Although it is quite small it is very effective in controlling dampness. Our master bath doesn’t have windows that open therefore we have a problem with moisture. This unit is compact enough so it doesn’t take up too much space and is very effective in controlling moisture in the room. The unit has 2 speeds and both are quiet enough to use in a bedroom if need be. I love the fact that it has a night light just in case we need to get up and use the bathroom. It is very light weight and can be moved around easily.
