I’ve had this heater for a few weeks now and I’m very impressed with it, it samples The air on night mode once every 30 minutes to check the temperature, it is very quiet. As for other reviews saying this unit is very noisy, the only way you’re going to get quieter is to use a radiant heater only! I have only had the unit come on once to provide heat and it seemed to do a very good job in a very short time to bring The warmth of the room up to where I wanted it. At present I have not tried the humidifier but seems to be well thought out and well-made. From what I can tell at this point this unit is well worth the money! The unit looks good, has good weight to it, and appears to be a very well-made piece of equipment. I would recommend this unit if you’re looking for a heater.

It works great. The only thing it is suppose to come with a remote control and it is not in the box or anywhere and no instructions.I hope that they will send me a remote and instructions. It is very easy to start, setting the temperature and getting the humidifier going. Need the instructions for how to clean or any maintenance I have to do on it.

It heats the space quickly and a pleasant heat! Also love the fact it oscillates!

I use it to help out in cottage . I live in northen Ontaio where temps can drop to 40 below . I have two of them for our frequent hydro outages and lifesaver if those happen mid winter . I run them with my 3300 Firman Generator . I like the oscillitating fan . I dont even fire up my propane furnace in the fall or spring as the Dr Heater runs for $3 dollars a day compared to $25 a day furnace cost , I just leave it in eco mode ..
Works great in my trailer too via the generator during hunting season which also saves on propane not running the furnace . Very responsive remote .
Now one thing is . When or if the oscillitating fan gets noisy just take apart and lubricate it and clean the filter too . Keep an eye on the water for humidifier too . I rarely use the humidfier myself but have on occassion .

After owning EdenPure and another “Infrared” heater which claim they don’t dry up the air but all heaters seem to still do dry up the air unless you have a humidifier. I got tired of cleaning a humidifier so I decided to give this one a try.
Love the humidifier with a sliding cover which blows out a mist of very fine steam from the top of the unit. Not sure if the blue light coming from the water container is a ultra-violet light for anti-bacterial purpose or not? But the light blue glow is pretty cool at night and it duals as a night light. The fan noise level is quieter than my EdenPure and I recommend placing the heater out in the hallway at night or just aim the heater’s fan in the direction of the bedroom so it can heat up all the bedrooms with doors open and you will hardly hear the fan noise at all. I’d recommend Micathermic heaters in each bedroom, which is the quietest because they are fanless.
Challenge was finding a 16 oz. coke/sprite bottle that would fit the valve for the humidifier. I only wish they use a larger size bottle like 20 oz + so I don’t need to refill the bottle daily. But a 16 oz. bottle seems to last the entire night and they give you 2 adaptors so you can have 2 bottles ready with one for back up when the other one runs out to alternate between the two.
They recommend using distilled water but I just use reverse osmosis filtered water for the humidifier which seems to work fine.
The product does what it claims to do: it heats up faster and the heat is hotter than my larger EdenPure, probably because of the dual ceramic/infrared heater elements. I read other complaints about ceramic heaters and complaints about this one only having one infrared bulb but I think this heater actually works better than my larger EdenPure with 4 bulbs and it is a very well designed portable heater which takes advantage of the best of both ceramic technolgy (for faster and hotter heating) and infrared technology (for less dried air) and it makes the best use of both.
I also love the large buttons and user-friendly interface layout with large LED temperature readout display. In AUTO mode, the thermostat lets you set a specific temperature; and the humidifier and fan buttons allow you to run fan only and/or turn on/off the optional humdifier optionally with the heater.
I placed this heater in the hall way to heat up 3 bedrooms and it works great and save us a lot of money on heating bills.

Well you scrolled for a review so here it is, the heater point blank is just really good. I got this heater because of a mistake, buying a bathroom heater that was greatly priced but it didn’t produce anywhere NEAR the same heat this heater does.
I’ll admit when opening the box, it was really small, especially compared to other heaters we have in the house right now, but after a good few cold weeks, size definitally doesn’t matter.
The humidifier is good. Not really out of the way amazing, not extremely effective, but it works and is there. Somehow this system exists and Dr. Heater thought it was great, and for someone who gets really scratchy and irritable at night when it’s uncomfortably hot and dry. Humidity is your best friend. And the fact you don’t even need the stock bottle is even better. I have a big smart water bottle back there 😂. The user control is truly present on this heater. Luxury heater for sure. If you Need a humidifier, I’d say keep the one you have and have this one as well if you feel like it doesn’t produce enough humidity. All depends on how you feel. Other then that I agree with the Comments, pretty useless other then that, that’s why they let you take the thing off 😂😂😂. BTW there are replacement pieces for the humidifier water gasket inside, Dr. Heater cares about you, The humidifier isn’t halfed ass, just is not THAT necessary.
This thing blows out hot air very well, even in uninsulated areas. When the cold is to much, the oscillation is a amazing feature, seriously amazing, only problem with it is there’s a timer on it that isn’t as long as you would want it to be if your really cold.
It does start up and warm up fast.
It’s very easy to repair, the backside comes loose with just a screw driver, and BOOM fan, fuses, whatever is needed, is all there, so much user comfort and self maintence is very much present.
I have a very good example of a heater that doesn’t care for user needs. I stripped it and all, should not be necessary to remove as many screws as I had to.
To add, this company doesn’t seem that big, but the added full warranty on labor and parts is nice as well. If you look at warranties for other heaters, they can be janky and only provide warranty on parts.
Durability wise it seems to hold up. It has knockover protection. I been kicking this thing around and letting it sit right in the coldest areas for hours, then turning it on. Playing with the vent Jaws that oscillate, and I mean it’s all sturdy…
So all in all, for a heater at this price, I’d say it’s a really above average heater. Very acceptable as a staple heater or a kitchen room heater. It will not heat up a really large area (the pictures were taken in my front living room, and there’s a decently sized den that’s uninsulated that the heater keeps warm) which I’m sure is already obvious. Don’t let the size fool you. If you want somthing more durable or hotter, you gotta go with heaters in the 200 buck range with copper fuses. They’re also alot bigger. Other then that, this is a solid heater across the board worth the buy, but if your house is on the bigger side, this is an OK heater, and OK isn’t that great in the winter when you feel it.
Be wise Amazon shoppers, best of luck!

Amazing heater with lots of options including econ mode. This product is listed number one for efficiency on numerous websites and honestly having the product for almost a week now I can understand why. It’s designed well and produces reasonable Heat the only thing I would Hazard people from is buying used or slightly used from the Amazon warehouse. I received my product with multiple elements missing from the packaging, the company in California was able to provide a solution but it’s just another step that you don’t have to take. It also comes with a 3-year warranty which is not listed on the Amazon ad which I find extremely concerning. 3 years is a decent warranty for infrared heater
