I bought this same unit about two years ago. It has been run 24 hrs a day almost 7 days a week since I bought it. For context when I bought it I was living in a trailer that was due to be torn down. There was mold in the walls, mice, hole in the roof, etc etc. This unit was my only source of heat, aircon, and air purification that whole time. It is still running strong to this day. Here soon I plan to buy another one, just in case this one quits. Keep making products like this costway, and you will have a life customer.

Working like a charm. You will be able to cut the air off N relax. I will get another but not this model. We want to try the brand that’s been around for years. I highly recommend N read the feedback that was the decision factor 4 US💯

The heater seems to work, but emits some kind of vapor. The water pump for the cooler works, but the fan never comes on. Basically, you have no cooler without the fan. The console or dashboard is confusing, and the user manual is not very helpful at all. I emailed Costway’s customer support twice, & never received a reply. I’m not returning this, but want a partial refund. I don’t drive anymore, & this item is too bulky to impose on a friend or neighbor to return for me. Besides, I don’t have a printer, which supposedly you need to get a return label. Bottom line: the product I received is defective, & the customer service (so far) is nonexistent.

What is more convenient than one product to be used for multiple purposes. I bought this for my patio as it gets really hot in Florida. For a 10 by 10 space I would say it works great. I did use it a couple times in my office as a humidifier and both functions (cooling fan and humidifier) have been doing great. Noise level is low and it’s more convenient than a window unit. Not recommended for a big room or area as the two ice packs are pretty petite.

Trabaja igual que un ventilador de pedal, yo le vierto hielo pero el aire no lo avienta frío, casi lo mismo que un ventilador regular (normal).

This product works well for what it’s intended to do. However, you need to understand how to maintain it and unfortunately the manufacturer doesn’t do to well with that. The set up as well isn’t descriptive enough for clueless purchasers. Luckily I have taken this thing apart. LET ME HELP YOU ALL.
First, make sure the green filter is wet before using on cool setting. When the fans been sitting and the filter is dry, the water and can flow down only some of the tracks which can lead to too much water flow in certain areas leading to splashing which in turn pools up and leaks by the wheels.
Second, when putting the tank into the unit, make sure the right side of the black lip is riding along the white tab that holds up the pump when the tank is out of the unit. This causes it to be slightly lifted on the side the pump is on, which will allow you to push the pump to back right corner of the tank and properly pump water to the minimum line. If you don’t have the pump all the way back and down, it will think it’s low when the tank is half full.
Third, this thing will start smell like a fish tank. Part of it is the water in the tank if you haven’t changed it often (below the minimum line there’s still 20% of the tanks water), and the bigger part is the green filter. Understand how the filter works to understand why. So the filter is more of a track system for the water to work it’s way back down to the tank. The actually screen that covers the filter is what is filtering out things like cat hair. The material is almost like construction paper with a hard coating over it. Because of this it’s semi absorbent and will start to smell overtime. To properly maintain the system, every few days, rinse the green filter very well. You can use dish soap but make sure you rinse it very very very well or it can cause more bacteria to grow and grime to build up. I recommend just rinsing with water unless you let it get pretty bad. By the time is “really” bad your room it’s in will be very obviously stinky so I’d imagine most wont let it get that bad.
To summarize, all you really need to do is dump out the old water at the start of a new day. Take the green filter and rinse it in water. This will keep it clean and also get it wet to allow water to flow down all tracks as intended. Be sure to have the pump all the way back in the corner and if it’s not staying down, put the tank on the white tab to elevate the one side. Without doing that, my units pump will be elevated and not pump down to the minimum line. If you keep this up, the smell will never get too bad, and the unit will never leak.
Lastly, the water will be yellowish after every use. This is not from your dirty air, this is 100% from the water running down the semi absorbent GREEN paper filter.
