I bought 3 like this. 2 stopped working after just a few weeks, the last one laster a bit longer. Very disturbing. I will not buy again. Also, the brand in the UK does not care.

I live in an extremely humid region with no fan in my bathroom. The humidity in my bathroom has gotten so high in the past that if the AC is running, after only a short shower there is water dripping from my vents. This appears to have helped with the pink and black mold in the shower. The bathroom carpets and towels also appear to be drying faster.
My apartment is about 500sqft and always feels stuffy with humidity and this is helping a lot. It has been running for several hours nearly every day for 2 months now and is still working great. At first I left it running 24/7 but I did start to notice an ozone type of smell (like when you use a hair dryer) so now I only turn it on before I shower and leave it on until I go to bed, usually 6 hours or less per day. This is still helping and there is no smell, so it appears to be doing the job.
Where I live is consistently so humid that I don’t think I will ever reach the shut-off level, so I can’t speak for the automatic shut-off function. I can definitely hear the noise from the next room but it just sounds like a fan so it’s not bothersome at all, in fact I often forget to turn it off because the noise is so unremarkable. The tray is easy to remove and empty; I bought the 250sqft option and I am emptying the container maybe once a week when it is about 3/4 full. It does have a very bright green light (much larger than that of a smoke detector) to show that it is “on” so if you are using this in a bedroom for example it may be noticeable.

4.4 stars. Works pretty good. No complaints. It pulls about a cups worth on humid days in 24 hrs, depending on the humidity level in the room.
It’s not as quiet as I would like it to be, so I just turned it on during the day when I am not in the room. The sound is actually not that loud tbh, but it’s not a white fan type of sound, and I am a very light sleeper. Would be nice if they had a daytime setting and a lower nighttime setting. Would also be nice if it showed the humidity level on it. But hey, it’s a good price and value. What I like is the size is practical and you don’t have to emptied out every single day. I’m guessing there’s almost a litres worth of space for the water to be collected in it. Also there is no filter so that’s handy. And it doesn’t heat up the air like some units do. Make sure the plug is pushed well into the unit or you might think it’s not working. I bought 2 and alternate rooms. It’s good for medium to large sized rooms. Nice blue light when it’s on.

Update 6/27/24
Customer service reached out to me after I submitted my honest review. It was beyond the Amazon return date, yet I received an email if I wanted a refund. I honestly wanted a replacement and they sent me a new one within days. I tested it out and it works perfectly. The auto shut off functions and its performance is as advertised. I appreciate that level of service and my review will reflect my experience. Mahalo 🤙
I wanted to like this little dehumidifier. It was quiet, low wattage and a high capacity reservoir for its size. I have a similar small one that is older and works flawlessly. The problem with these cheap dehumidifiers, is you can’t find it again a year later being the cheap mass produced plastic product in some far away place. My main issue is there is no ‘full capacity shut off’ and it just over flows. And my dry food products are now wet. You have to keep an eye on it constantly. This is why I will go back to buying better made products with customer service, warranty, returns and all that consumer protections we take for granted. It is the same price as all the others but less features and feels even cheaper than its predecessors. How much cheaper can it get? I would love to buy a small, low wattage but good dehumidifier if they existed.

When I purchased this product in July of last year, I was looking for a small-ish quiet dehumidifier for a room in an apartment I was moving to. The main use for it would be to take moisture out of a walk-in closet and occasionally a ~140 square feet room. I had scoured the reviews, and landed on the 2200 cubic foot model of the Pro Breeze.
When I first got it, the unit seemed to work okay. It was definitely not anything near quiet like the manufacturer (and exclusive Amazon.com storefront seller) claims to be. In fact, it’s louder than my larger air purifier by quite a lot. However, I did not mind at the time, as I would only leave it on for part of the time.
Cut to now, April. The weather is warming up for the summer, and I’m trying to get the unit running again. The machine turns on, but doesn’t take a single drop of water out of the environment. Not a single drop in the collection bin after hours of use. So I figured, since it was still well within warranty, I might as well get the unit replaced.
I send an email to their customer support. Most of them would give you a general troubleshoot before admitting their unit might be faulty and offer to replace. But no, not Pro Breeze. They’ve been giving me the run around, continually claiming that:
1.) my dehumidifier to be a smaller unit that the one I purchased
2.) The unit wouldn’t work in a room that was smaller than their room limitations (which was untrue, as it worked prior)
3.) The unit would not work at humidity above OR below exactly 60% (which is absurd, that’s not how humidifiers work at all)
They refuse to honor a warranty that’s well within its range, claiming that their product (and I quote) “needs to be used in an environment within its ideal range”. Now, we know that’s all untrue because it’s worked previously. They won’t accept that their units have terrible issues that cause them to fail within a year of purchase. Their recourse? They can recommend another unit for me to buy.
So here’s my overall review: It oversells and under-delivers when it does work, but this thing will eventually fail on you. And if it does during the warranty period, expect zero support from their warranty department. The warranty simply does not exist. Unless you like terrible odds or skydiving without a backup parachute, I would recommend buyers look for another brand altogether.

The Pro Breeze 1500ml Dehumidifier is a compact and efficient device designed for small spaces, such as bedrooms, offices, or bathrooms. With a water tank capacity of 1500ml, it can effectively reduce humidity levels in rooms up to 220 square feet, making it suitable for personal use. It operates with low noise, which is a major plus for nighttime or bedroom settings, ensuring it won’t disturb sleep. The energy-efficient design makes it cost-effective to run continuously without spiking electricity bills. Additionally, the automatic shut-off feature activates when the water tank is full, preventing any risk of spillage. The unit is lightweight and portable, allowing easy movement between rooms if necessary. One downside is that it may take some time to notice significant results in larger or more humid environments. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option for maintaining comfortable humidity levels in small to medium spaces.

This bad boy can dehumidify a small storage unit (8×5×4) in less than an hour. It wont push the Rh% much lower than 53-52 on more humid days though. The manual switch also makes it perfect for climate controllers. I have the smaller unit hooked up as a backup when this guy turns off or struggles, but it works phenomenally on most days. Its also extremely quiet, which is a big plus for many of us.
Dropped a star because the price point is pretty high and the reservoir fill switch is low quality, it broke down after about 4 months of running 24/7, before i built the climate controller. Im sure the unit wasn’t designed to run day and night though so i cant entirely fault them for that.
I should also mention what the data chart is showing. The controller is set to kick the dehumidifier on at 50%Rh and kick off and 45%. The downward slope on the sine waves are the time it takes to drop 5%Rh under those conditions. Its a pretty circumstantial point of reference but this is mainly to give you an idea.
