Nice compact compressor-type dehumidifier at a very reasonable price but does not perform to specifications. Specs state up to 2500 sq ft and moisture removal as 8 pints/day at 65 degrees F and 60% RH. I ran it in an 1800 sq ft basement on High for 24 hours and it extracted 3.5 pints (68 degrees F and 57% RH). The RH display did not show any reduction in actual humidity. It’s very quiet on Low so may be suitable for a bedroom at night, or a bathroom on High, or an RV. But not a large room or basement. 300 sq ft max.

Needed a compressor driven dehumidifier for my camper here in humid Florida that wasn’t too big. This one fits the bill and is keeping the camper humidity in the 50s, when it was in the 90 percent humidity prior. Ugg.
The thermal based dehumidifiers don’t work down here as far as I can tell, I had two of those running and the humidity was always too high. This Colaze one is sooo much better.

I recently purchased this dehumidifier for my 1200 square foot finished basement, which tends to get quite humid during the summer months. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say that it has exceeded all my expectations!

I’ve had this dehumidifier for about a week now & it’s absolutely amazing. It’s amazingly quiet and not noisy at all, I don’t hear a thing while I sleep. There are multiple functions and buttons you can configure with to your liking. You can change the fan speeds , Add a automatic timer, and this dehumidifier comes with a drainage plug. Overall this is probably one of the best dehumidifier Ive ever used . Wonderful

Wofür gedacht? (Erwartungshaltung)
Altes Haus, an dem wir nur unregelmäßig anwesend sein können. Hatte im Juni fett Hochwasser, nun sind die Wände im teilweise eh schon feuchten Keller überall durchnässt. Dieser Entfeuchter sollte am Anfang im Dauerbetrieb und später nach Unterschreitung von 65% Luftfeuchtigkeit per Zeitschaltuhr seinen Dienst tun. Ich wollte ein Gerät, dass auch einen Abflussschlaucht zulässt, um ggf. bei Abwesenheit in größere Behälter (oder einen Abfluss) entfeuchten zu können. Zusätzlich habe ich mir mehrere (billige) Hygrometer angeschafft, um die Arbeit objektiv bewerten zu können.
Wofür geeignet? (Erfüllungsgrad)
Tut genau, was er soll. Die Hygrometer wurden alle vier gleichzeitig daneben gelegt, um Abweichungen des Gerätes bzw. einzelner Messgeräte zu erkennen. Glücklicherweise zeigen alle dasselbe an (+/- 5%) – also entweder funktionieren alle einigermaßen, oder alle sind genau gleich kaputt 🙂
Das Gerät läuft solange der Auffangbehälter nicht voll ist, oder per Timer-Funktion oder per Steckdosen-Zeitschaltuhr – alles ausprobiert: alle 3 Optionen funktionieren einwandfrei. Da ich nach dem Grobtrocknen der Kellerräume jetzt nicht mehr dauernd vor Ort sein kann, wollte ich das Gerät per Zeitschaltuhr täglich 2h laufen lassen – was ich nun aber nicht wirklich benötige. Denn wenn der Behälter voll ist, schaltet es sich sowieso ab (dann hilft auch keine Zeitschaltuhr, weil es sich voll nicht mehr einschaltet). Also lasse ich es einfach ab und an laufen, bis es voll wird. Da der Keller noch feucht genug ist (leider) – läuft es auch nicht tagelang durch. Die Hygrometer beweisen ein konstantes Absinken, als auch einen sauberen Effekt. 12L wird es wohl niemals erreichen (Raumtemperatur, Höhe der Feuchtigkeit etc.), aber das reicht völlig, um einen ca. 20 qm großen Kellerraum gut zu entfeuchten. Bereits nach 1h zeigen die Messgeräte Veränderungen an. Nach 1 Nacht ist der Füllbehälter auch voll.
Wenn ich die Türen auflasse, dann zieht es natürlich auch aus den Nebenräumen konstant Feuchtigkeit und kann somit auch die nicht so stark betroffenen Räume konstant mit-bearbeiten (wenn auch nicht so effektiv). Bisher lief das Gerät fast durchgehend unter Volllast, ohne erkennbare Abnutzung, Geruch oder Hitzeentwicklung und auch die ersten Abwesenheiten haben super funktioniert. Es läuft nichts über, die Fülle des Behälters wird dennoch bis zum Rand ausgenutzt (aufpassen beim Ausleeren!). Den Überlaufschlauch musste ich daher bisher noch gar nicht nutzen. Zudem kann das Gerät im laufenden Betrieb entleert werden, die 10 Sekunden tropft da nix herum, es läuft einfach brav weiter, bis der Behälter wieder drinsitzt.
Aussehen / Haptik: sieht hochwertig aus, keine scharfen Kanten, nicht zu billig designed oder minderwertig o.Ä. Alles dabei, was benötigt wird (auch Ablaufschlauch), besitzt zudem eine Anzeige der Restfeuchte im Raum (s.o. – die auch annehmbar funktioniert!).
Fazit: Besitzt alles, was man braucht (Anzeige, Modi, Anschlüsse, Rollen). Ist intuitiv zu bedienne. Lässt sich einfach herumschieben. Macht einen wertigen, robusten Eindruck bisher und tut genau, was es sollte. Durch die Einschaltfunktion auch mit Zeitschaltuhr nutzbar. Durch die automatische Abschaltung bei vollem Behälter kein Überlaufen. Knöpfe sind sauber zu bedienen, die Modi ausreichend und wie gewünscht / erwartet. Keine Enttäuschung der Erwartungshaltung (vlg. oben). Für mich bisher ein Top-Kauf, den ich bedenkenlos empfehlen kann.

Dieser Luftentfeuchter hat mich wirklich beeindruckt! Er erfüllt seine Aufgabe äußerst effizient und zuverlässig. In meinem Keller, der anfällig für Feuchtigkeit ist, hat der Luftentfeuchter ganze Arbeit geleistet und die Luft spürbar trockener und angenehmer gemacht.
Mit einer Kapazität von 12 Litern pro Tag bewältigt er mühelos auch größere Räume wie mein Wohnzimmer oder Schlafzimmer. Die Digitalanzeige und der Timer sind äußerst praktisch und erleichtern die Bedienung. Außerdem finde ich es großartig, dass der Luftentfeuchter mit einem Ablaufschlauch geliefert wird, der den Entleerungsvorgang erleichtert.
Die Bauweise des Luftentfeuchters ist solide und robust, und das Design ist ansprechend und unauffällig. Ich schätze auch die relative Geräuschlosigkeit des Geräts, die es ermöglicht, es auch in Wohnbereichen zu verwenden, ohne gestört zu werden.
Insgesamt bin ich äußerst zufrieden mit dem Luftentfeuchter und kann ihn jedem empfehlen, der mit Feuchtigkeitsproblemen zu kämpfen hat. Dank seiner Effizienz, Benutzerfreundlichkeit und Zuverlässigkeit ist er eine großartige Investition für ein angenehmeres Raumklima.

We use this dehumidifier daily to help dry our washing Indoors, which during the winter months in the UK, is a great way to dry clothes at a fraction of the cost of a tumble drier. I wont post pictures of our washing – but there is a lot of it!
We have two teenagers who play a lot of football. Therefore, there is always lots of washing on the go in our house, which in winter months, when there is nowhere to dry it outside is a challenge.
This unit literally costs pennies per day to run, and it dries the washing in less than half the time of just air drying. The amount of moisture it will remove is incredible, so not only does the washing dry quicker, but it will also reduce the risk of condensation, which as we know leads to mould patches forming in the corners of ceilings.
It’s a great design, sleek, well made and a nice sized unit – not like the big bulky dehumidifiers of old. It is a very well-designed, portable compact unit.
The digital settings are very good, and it’s easy to use out the box. It has a selection of settings, should you want to put it on a timer etc, but that will require a read of the instruction booklet to understand all the uses!
Pros:
– Easy to use – just press ‘on’ and go!
– Runs far quieter than the older models we have had. Not much more noise than a normal floor fan.
– A variety of settings and auto shut off.
– Good digital humidity display
– Easy to move, and far lighter than models of old.
Cons:
– Wheels work ok, but are too small for rolling on carpeted areas, so you need to lift the unit.
– Instruction booklet required a re-read, if looking to understand all the features available.
Overall, I’ve been really pleased with this unit. Highly recommended!

Der Luftentfeuchter hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Trotz seiner kompakten Größe arbeitet er erstaunlich effektiv und leise, was ihn ideal für den Einsatz in Schlafzimmern oder Wohnräumen macht. Innerhalb weniger Stunden spürt man eine deutliche Verbesserung des Raumklimas, da er die Feuchtigkeit zuverlässig reduziert. Besonders praktisch finde ich die einfache Bedienung und das ansprechende, unaufdringliche Design. We purchased this dehumidifier primarily to assist with build up of condensation in the colder months or when drying laundry.
We’ve observed the following
– simple to follow instructions and easy to operate
– relatively lightweight so easy to move from room to room as required
– straightforward control panel on the top, quick to cycle through different options
– It can be either on all the time or it offers a timer option.
– you can set it to be on or select a desired humidity level which it achieves very quickly
When the machine is in operation you can hear it running but this is not overly loud, the sound is quieter if the fan is set to low.
We are an elderly couple and live in an older house and have been amazed by how well this dehumidifier has worked, it has not only removed condensation from rooms but it also helped our laundry dry soo much quicker than normal.
From an efficiency point of view even running the device for long periods of time during the day it has had very little impact on our energy consumption.
Overall we can say with confidence that this dehumidifier was well worth the purchase and has made a huge difference in our home. It’s a great price for a device that works brilliantly and have recommended it to friends and family.
