I wish I had these years ago! The bags are actually pretty quality and seem like they will last many years. I’ll definitely buy these again. Great for keeping pewpews and feed from rusting/oxidizing.

I’ve been using these silicon moisture-absorbing pouches for about six weeks in various closets and drawers around my home. The pouches feature a color-changing system to indicate saturation, which I find quite useful. After placing them in the sun for a few hours to dry out, they visibly change back to a blue color, ready to be used again. The attached photos show the color before and after recharging. The lighter pinkish color is before and the blue color is after.

I wanted something to keep in my saddlebags and tour pack on my motorcycle to keep the damp musty smell out of these sealed compartments with a lot of my gear. These great and they’re an awesome size. Not too big, not too small. I have an extra so I threw that one in my car under the seat.

I had this old bag of masa harina that I was going to throw out but instead, I decided to use it as a test. At some point the flour had become clumpy from the humidity so I poured it into a food storage container, put one of these packs into an open sandwich bag, then gently set it on top and sealed up the container. As the weeks have gone by my harina has gone from looking like hard shards of plaster back to a free-flowing flour like the day I bought it. Is the flour any good? I don’t know yet, but the flour is drying and since flour is a great desiccant that means the desiccant they used in the bag is top notch. They even come packaged properly so they’re ready to use on delivery. I would say that if you wanted to keep important documents completely dry inside a sealed container I would tell you to go for it and just check up on it once a year.
