When I put them in a larger mason jar with herbs, they seem to last a while and not get hard. Put them in a smaller container with dehydrated rinds. They are hard pretty quickly. So depending on what you’re using for and what type of food and or material Determines the longevity of them.

The 2 way humidity control of these packs are incredible. In the humidor i run a regular brick humidifier and these packs and they last 2 to 3 times as long having to constantly absorb moisture instead of release it but my hydrometer is always at the percentage of pack i purchase. If you are using them in things like masonjars or vacuum sealed packs then you got about a month before they dry out and faster if you are constantly opening the jar. If its something you constantly open, these go quick. These go in the longer term storage jars that i wont be needing anytime soon. If it feels squishy, it is still working though.
