Works great and keeps our big beroom just right, I find it a bit loud but I love the sound after working in a tin can factory for 15 years with 115 d.b I need the noise.. This ac puts me to sleep. We now have two of them. Very pleased!!!

So far I like everything. One reviewer mentioned the hose comes off where it connects to the AC. When you connect the hose it has to be turned counter clockwise and it will snap in place, it is quite easy to remove by turning the hose clockwise.
I do not find it too noisy, I have a small fan that is louder. Set on AUTO the fan speed varies.
One day it put about a litre (Quart) of water in the container, on a humid day I set it on dehumidify and it put more in the container. The AC has been on steady and two days later the container is still dry.
The drain hose works good, has not come off yet. The bottom drain only has to be opened when “HL” shows on the display or after you have finished using it for the season.

This was our pick after we researched air conditioners on Amazon. It was a name brand, and it was less expensive than most with a similar output, and it had generally positive reviews. It has worked out well in the long run. In the short run, there were issues. It came with a busted wheel/caster. We phoned customer service and reached someone immediately who worked hard to help us and finally seemed to succeed; but then a higher-up at DeLonghi emailed to say that we had to fill out a form and submit various documents. Quite a lot of bother for a $2 caster. The greater problem was that we had to fit it to a horizontally sliding window, but the window plate supplied was for a vertically sliding double-hung window. So we had to cut the plate to size, which had its challenges. Then what should have been a simple matter of installing the plate in the window and attaching the exhaust hose was complicated by the fact that the instructions that came with the air conditioner were very hard to interpret, with tiny drawings that didn’t show which side of the plate should face out and how to seal it. Anyway, that’s all done now, and the air conditioner works fine.

Seems to cool a bigger room than suggested with no problem. The automatic cycle is really nice as it dehumidifies the room at the same time. The dehumidifier does work a little better when used by itself but not that much. The controls are easy to use. It is a little noisy when wide open but still quieter than others I have had. The good thing is that it is very quiet when it goes out of the top setting and still puts out a good amount of cold air.

It’s a great product and I would recommend it to an apartment dweller or if your just trying to cool a section off area. The window kit is good but in my case, I have louvered windows, so I needed to fabricate a suitable window mount. Between the supplied kit and a little ingenuity everything worked out great. I’m extremely satisfied with the Air Conditioners performance.

I purchased the first one in 2022 as we like a very cool bedroom for sleeping and prefer not to cool the whole house. It failed after a few months (stopped cooling). I contacting Delonghi and they stood behind the warranty and shipped me a new one. The second unit failed after a few months as well. DO NOT BUY!

This unit cools fast and is relatively quiet. Only negative was that the window kit did not fit my vertical sliding window very well. There were gaps at the top where the unit extended. I was able to adapt with the provided tape and a little cardboard. Otherwise is easy to set up, use and works well.

This unit is loud. At the time I purchased this, the product description stated 53db. I measured the decibel level at 60-61db when the ac was on its LOWEST setting. This is not subtle background noise. It’s difficult to ignore and interferes with phone/zoom calls.
Also, the window/door kit it comes with is sketchy and small. Make sure to measure your window length to make sure the included kit will span your entire window.

I wouldn’t be able to sleep without it. I use just in my bedroom. It’s hot here in Florida and my roommate keeps the house warm. I can close my door and have my room at 74 instead of 78. Cooler if needed. I need the background noise for sleeping also so it is a win win. My previous one was the same brand it it lasted me five years with consistent use.
