I got this to protect a wardrobe in the summer months when it can get humid. I got tired of DampRid which you have to keep replacing – over time the cost adds up.
As long as you have a power outlet, this works like a champ. Drawing the rated 85W of power, depending upon your humidity levels you will easily get a cup or more of water in the tank per day. It also has a quiet mode for less aggressive water extraction, although I found the noise level was identical and drew about 20W less power.
The tank is a nice size for this “portable” unit. You will probably go at least a week before you have to empty it, and of course it shuts off when the tank is full. I do wish it had a sensor so it turned on only when the humidity reached a certain level, but I can live with that.
The one thing I would suggest as an improvement – a timer or the ability for it to switch on automatically when plugged in so you can use an external timer. As it is now, when you plug it in you have to physically press a button to turn it on. In my case, I’m leaving it on all the tie so it doesn’t matter unless I do the math and find out that running a 60W appliance 24hrs a day is too much.
Great little unit, and not too noisy. Great for small rooms, or, as I bought it for, a closet with clothes/shoes.

Purchased this item with hesitation and curiosity. Comments provide ample feedback as well as answer questions. For the cost, size and design, this item is a must buy for a small apartment. My apartment, a single bedroom with small living room and kitchen, maintained on average 73% humidity. After the long-awaited arrival, the humble shelter maintained 59% humidity and lowered the ambient temperature by 10 degrees. Greatly welcomed. The weather is transitioning from high heat and humidity to cool weather, this machine offers flexibility.
I keep it on the counter for easy access to the drain tank. Quiet and maintains a simple profile. Highly recommended.

I needed a dehumidifier for a small crawl space in my home, so I started searching for products. Ran across this particular product and was immediately taken away by its size and claims of it performing well. We decided to give it a try. I noticed how easy the instructions were and how simple it was to set up the product. The amount of water it collects for the small space, ensuring no humidity in the particular space you set it up in, is so worth the money invested. Super easy to empty out the container and maintain and the noise levels aren’t that loud as most other products. I highly recommend this product to any homeowner or renter.

This is working very well to get the humidity out of the bathroom after showers. I don’t have an exhaust fan, just a window that doesn’t help when it’s humid outside too. I needed something compact enough to fit in the bathroom and get moisture out of the air. It’s working well and I like the color options for the light. Easy to empty and set up. Good value for money so far. I’ll update if that changes!

I can’t believe how much water this thing takes in. I knew we had a lot of humidity in our apt, but this is crazy! Works perfectly, very quiet, lights are a fun option. Very easy to empty the tank, we have to empty about every 4 to 5 days. We feel this is an excellent buy, really got our money’s worth. Works like a very professional unit. No issues at all. Looks very modern and does it’s job!

I’ve been using the NineSky dehumidifier in my garage, near my water filtration and purification units, and it’s been performing well. Here’s what I’ve noticed:
Pros:
• Quiet: This dehumidifier is impressively quiet, even when running on high speed. Since it’s in my garage, noise isn’t a big concern, but it’s nice that it doesn’t disturb the area when I’m working near it.
• Auto Shutoff: The automatic shutoff feature is great, but since I’ve hooked it directly into my waste water system, I don’t even have to think about emptying the tank. This has made it incredibly convenient for long-term use.
• Compact: Its size is perfect for small spaces like my garage. It’s portable enough that I could move it around if needed.
Cons:
• Tank Size (If Not Hooked Up): For those not hooking it up to a drainage system like I did, the tank does fill up quickly in more humid spaces, which could be an issue for some.
• No Sleep Mode Use for Me: Since it’s in my garage, I don’t really use the sleep mode. However, the regular operation is quiet enough that it wouldn’t be a problem in a quieter room or at night.
Overall, the NineSky dehumidifier has exceeded my expectations for my garage and basement gym. It’s a low-maintenance, efficient solution that fits perfectly into my setup, and I’d recommend it to anyone needing a reliable, compact dehumidifier.

I was stunned by the size of this when reading about it. Even though it’s small it easily handles our apartment. You can hear the machine running but it’s not that loud. The beeping it does when you touch a button is very loud and piercing. So many loud beeps setting this up and you can’t silence them. It gets a lot of water out of the air and has a big enough capacity that I only empty like once every few days during a hot summer. The lighting is cool but we don’t use it often. It’s small enough that we can pick it up and move it to another room easily. It’s been on non stop since we got it. It will auto shut off when full and BEEP LOUDLY TO LET YOU KNOW!
Easy to empty, wish it had a longer cord.
