I wish I could set a timer on it to come “ON” ! ! ! I appreciate the timer to turn off…..

This is a small, but powerful, wall heater that plugs directly into a standard 3-prong wall outlet. It is simple to operate – it has four push-button controls on the front for temperature setting, timer and heat on/off, and includes a remote control. The unit is rated at 450 W, so it is a reasonable size for small area heating of a bedroom or home office. The box and manual warn against using this in a bathroom; you don’t want an electrical heater anywhere near water, but since this heater plugs directly into an outlet, it would be impossible to drop this heater into water without it literally being pulled out of and disconnected from the outlet. And if it were plugged into a bathroom GFI-protected outlet, I don’t think there would be much risk, but better to be safe than sorry.
The safety instructions in the manual are written well — Since the heater is directly attached to the wall outlet, it is very important to be sure the wall and space around the heater are clear. This is true for any electric heater, not just this one. The front gets very hot, so placing it in the right spot, and keeping it clear of household objects, furniture, people and pets is very important.
Also, note that there is a separate main power switch on the right side. The instruction manual says that the heat on/off button on the front is used to turn the heat on and off. When the heater is turned off using that front button, the heater is designed to turn off the heating element, but allow the fan to run for another minute (see the countdown timer at “30” in my photo) to cool off the heater before switching off. But if you use the main power switch on the right side, everything shuts down immediately. This means the fan doesn’t continue running, and the front of the heater stays burning hot for a lot longer. You definitely should NOT use the main power switch to turn off the running heater. Instead, always use the front heater on/off button, to allow the fan run to cool the heater down for 60 seconds. Then you can turn off the main power switch. This is not a big issue, more of a clarification to the instructions that should be added to the user manual. This is not an issue when using the remote control to turn off the heater since the remote’s on/off is like pressing the on/off button on the front of the heater, and you can’t turn off the main power switch from the remote.
Overall, I give this heater 5 stars for its compact size, remote control, ease of use, having no cord, and enough power to heat small spaces.

It’s at the end of summer as I write this, so I can’t exactly test a space heater in its full glory (e.g. during the dead of winter), but I am very pleased by what I have seen so far. It’s small (it’s a “mini” space heater, after all), so not only does it save space by its small size, but also because it plugs directly into the wall. This gives it an advantage over corded mini-space heaters that need to take up space on a floor somewhere. The plug on the back rotates, which means you could use it in an outlet which is sideways or even upside down (note that the instructions say the heater should be operated right-side up).
The features of the heater include temperature adjustment from 60 degrees to 90 degrees, automatic timer on and off, and fan speed control (low or high). The timer only counts in hours, which means if you want it to shut off or turn it on automatically, the minimum delay time is one hour.
A nice feature of this heater is that it is pretty quiet. Even at its high speed, I don’t think it would wake most people up from a sleep if they were about 10 feet away. Although the high speed fan doesn’t pump out heat all that far from the unit, I could feel a small amount of heat blowing onto my hand when I held it about three feet away. I guess this is probably what you would expect from a unit of this type.
Lastly, it includes a remote control, which is nice to have if you keep the heater in a location which isn’t easily accessible. It looks like all the functions of the remote are the same that you can find on the unit itself.
Overall, this appears to be a really handy mini space heater. I don’t think this would work great in a large room, but in a small room this would likely be perfect. My plans are to use this in a bathroom or small office where concentrated heat is needed at certain points in the year.
