We buy peaches by the bushel and have used both of these units to ozonate water in a large flip bin.
1) Wash the fruit as normal to clean off the dirt
2) Bath the peaches in the flip bin for about 2 minutes in ozonated water
3) My wife likes to take this time to rub off as much fuzz from the peach as possible
We do this outside in a well vented area as the ozone has a distinct smell and can be a suffocation concern indoors.
We also wash vegetables and other produce on a smaller scale inside. We notice a longer shelf life with things washed in ozonated water.
We have started running this unit in our swimming pool at 60 minute intervals occasionally. We have no data that shows there is a benefit and a pool is a much larger volume of water, so the concentration of ozone may be negligible. It is important to notice that the instruction state that the unit should never be run for more than 60 minutes at a time.
I would recommend this item, realizing results may widely vary.

Bought a 150 gallon tub for cold plunge. Tried several different things but the smell became horrible after one day. The only thing that helped was bleach packs. Hated it and my skin did. Saw this and the cost is about the same as most chemicals.
Thing works like a dream. No smell. Clean water after two weeks.
Super easy to use. Stone plunges to the bottom. Noise is not bad.
So worth every penny. Until I can afford a chiller and cleaner.

This is a simple to use device. I am using it to help sanitize my ice/cold plunge tub. The ozone helps to kill bacteria and such. It makes a humming noise (sort of like an aquarium air pump) as it is pumping air and ozone through the hose and out the air stone.
So far, this has worked well for our needs and we’re very pleased. Thanks!
MY PERSONAL COMMENTS:
I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. We are provided the opportunity to order (free of charge) many items that are new to the market, or where a seller just wants some additional exposure for their product. We are NOT required to review every item in exchange for using it. I personally only order products that are important to me (and/or my wife), items I can use or items that I have the ability to properly test (I have lots of test equipment). So from that use/testing I can provide an honest evaluation & review (and not always a 4 or 5 star) based upon my use and testing of the product. Thanks…and feel comfortable with any information I provide in a review.

After seeing a friend of mine with an “official” de-scenter (did I just make up that word?) that cost quite a bit, I thought I could make my own version using the same concept – ozone to kill the odor causing bacteria, so I got this unit along with a portable “closet” to create a unit where I can hang and deodorize my hockey equipment and hunting gear. It works great! I love the timer as I can set it and forget it, and after an hour (at most) it turns off and the equipment just hangs out til I need it. I don’t use it after every game, but every few weeks and short time in this unit and the ozone does the trick! I have also now used it in our small hot tub, with noticeable results and comments from my wife and son that the water looks and seems cleaner and clearer even than we usually keep it with the filters and chlorine. As an added bonus, I am not using this for other applications as well – it is running inside my washing machine right now to deodorize that. This isn’t a super expensive unit, but still has a bit of cost to it, but it is well worth it!

Ozone is a very good way to sterilize water, and the beauty of it is that after it has dissipated, you are good to go. It doesn’t leave anything behind, like chlorine or other chemicals. Of course, you need to give it about an hour or so to dissipate, and you don’t want to use it with people or pets present.
This unit is well made, and works well. It’s simple enough to operate: you connect the tube to the device, run the other end of the tube to the water you want to sanitize, and you are good to go. It puts out a decent amount of ozone for water use, and you can run it for however long you need to. For a typical small plunge or portable hot tub, I would think 30 minutes to be adequate, but you can adjust if needed.
Recommended.

During the first few weeks of having this, I was using it on a 4hr timer to help keep my cold plunge pool clean. After about 2 weeks I noticed that the airline tubing had fallen off of the unit. I tried to put it back on, but it doesn’t fit well. That is also when I noticed that the unit gets very hot.
I honestly think that the heat from the unit made the end of the airline tubing brittle and I could not get it to expand to get a better grip. I’d definitely recommend using better tubing if you are going to get this. The other issue is that the tubing that was sent with it was very short, and didn’t have an ideal amount of length to work with.

I received this ozone generator and my first impressions is that when the box arrived, it had a strong scent reminiscent of an Eastern European perfume. This might be a warehouse issue, but it was quite noticeable.
The ozone pump works perfectly for my cold plunge setup. It effectively keeps the water clean, which is exactly what I needed. I typically run it a few hours before using the cold plunge to ensure the water is fresh and sanitized.
The built-in timer is a great feature, allowing me to set it and forget it. The device is straightforward to operate, and the instructions were clear.
The generator operates quietly as well, which is a big plus. It doesn’t interfere with my daily activities, and I can barely notice it running.
I bought a longer silicone tube and added a weighted hook to ensure it stays deep down in my cold plunge. This modification has worked well, enhancing the generator’s effectiveness.
Despite the initial strong scent, the ozone generator performs exceptionally well. It’s a reliable and efficient solution for keeping my cold plunge water clean. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an effective water sanitizer for their cold plunge, ice bath or hot tub.
