These are great for keeping your PLA dry for your 3d printer! I love the fact that you can easily see if they need to be recharged and that the bag is large enough to keep the AMS dry.

Nothing super special about what these are for. They are filled with silica beads that help absorb moisture. I keep one of these in my car on the dashboard as it helps keep inside moisture down especially during the winter and cooler months so ice doesn’t form on the inside. When you go to recharge them be careful they come out of the microwave very very very hot, Do not heat them up to recharge them on anything that is not heat resistant and microwave safe. I suggest using tongs or a heat mitt when pulling it out to let it cool back down.
Otherwise these are great. Toss one wherever you need to keep humidity down

I like the size of these desiccant bags as they don’t require “recharging” as often. They seem well made and durable. I like that these are black and don’t stand out much. I’m currently using these in my basement closet to prevent the musty smells which they do a decent job at. At ~$6 for each 200g bag, this is a good value.

I have been worried about moisture in my garage kept pew safe for a while, these have been in there for a about a week now and I can already tell the difference whenever I open my safe. Great purchase, and you can have one up high and one down low. Love the fact all you have to do to “recharge” them is microwave the moisture out of them. The blue patch that’ll tell you when you need to “recharge them” is a great feature. Probably one of the best options for not using a fully electronic desiccant/dehumidifier.

These moisture-absorbing packs are not that big, but they are just big enough to keep my closets nice and dry. It says that the indicator will turn light blue when they need to be recharged in the microwave, but this indicator starts off regular blue, so it is a bit hard to tell if they need recharging or not. They come in pretty dry, so I assumed they do not need to be heated in the microwave before use, and so far, they are keeping my closets dry. Overall pretty good, would recommend.

I wanted these to help keep some 3d printer filament dry. I have a large plastic storage bin with an airtight lid, and I had been using a plate full of little silica gel packets, and I was getting annoyed at them getting loose in the container and then having to round them up to ‘regenerate’ them in the oven. One of these seems like it has more dessicant in it than all of my little pouches put together, and now I just have two things to chase around and bake. Sure enough, within an hour of putting them in my container, the humidity had dropped under 20%. And I can see at a glance if it is time to bake them dry again. I’m very happy with these pouches.

These rechargeable desiccant bags have been fairly effective for maintaining a dry environment in my gun safe. The silica gel inside effectively absorbs moisture, keeping my firearms and accessories safe from rust and corrosion. Or at least hopefully that’s the case.
While the charging these takes a bit longer than expected, I found a quick and efficient solution: heating them in the microwave on medium power for a few minutes. This method has worked wonders for reviving their moisture-absorbing capabilities. I guess you can put them in the oven or leave them out in the sun, but I just want the moisture evaporated quickly.
After placing the bags in my gun safe, I noticed a decent drop in humidity within the first couple of days. The reduction of about 5% has given me peace of mind knowing that my firearms are protected from the damaging effects of moisture. Granted I did recharge my plug-in dehumidifiers at the same time so I’ll need to keep an eye on the moisture reading to see if it goes below where I could get it with just the old packs.
Overall, I feel confident recommending these rechargeable desiccant bags to anyone looking to maintain a dry and safe storage environment. I’m not sure the two bags by themselves would be enough for a large gun safe, but in tandem with my two other rechargeable plug-in packs, this seems to be the solution to keep the moisture down for me.

These non-electric dehumidifiers work pretty effectively. These seem to absorb moisture just fine. These aren’t as easy to get fully recharged as some others that I’ve used.
The premise on these is pretty simple… You “charge” these by putting them out in the sun, putting them in the oven, or microwaving them for several minutes to remove the initial moisture. Once they’re charged, they’re ready to go into a safe, cabinet, or pretty much any other enclosed area that you want to keep the moisture level down in.
These work fine, but honestly, they take a lot longer to recharge than other brands that I’ve had. Granted, these are larger than some others but double the size shouldn’t mean triple or quadruple the charge time. Even if I charge them for what should be an adequate amount of time, I question whether or not they’re fully recharged.
For the $15ish price I still think they’re a good value, but I’m not sure they’re as effective as some of the other options that are out there. I’d recommend these but do your own research before making a decision for yourself.
