I had wanted to order a humidifier for my bedroom, and my wife had wanted to add an air purifier. We saw this had both, but now regret taking this route. As a comparison, my daughter has a humidifier we purchased a couple of years ago… And as a result, this comes up short. Especially for (over) double the price.
First, I haven’t tested the dehumidifier function. I really don’t need it. It is nice that it comes with a tube, so you could run this next to the sink and not worry about filling the reservoir, but I doubt I’ll end up using this feature, which I knew going in.
Next, the air filtration. Now, I knew that it wouldn’t match up to our dedicated air purifiers (we live in an area that frequently gets wild fire smoke, so they’re a must for us), but I’m curious how well this actually filters. It does have a little filter the air runs through, but it’s pretty basic. I’m sure it’s better than nothing. It does come with an extra, which is also nice. The big issue is that I’m not seeing any details in the manual (or on the box) about a part number, or anything that would help me order replacements when the time comes. This gives me the vibes that they really don’t expect you to need/want them later. IDK, just underwhelmed considering this was one of the main reasons we went with this unit.
Now, the humidifier does work. Admittedly, the fog cloud is much smaller than our dedicated humidifier in our toddlers room… But this is smaller than that unit, so it’s expected. Besides lacking the features of our (cheaper) humidifier, this unit has one fatal flaw for our bedroom use case… The sound. Yes, it is very quiet. But the sound is does make is water sucking. To me, it sounds like a small fish tank. It’s quiet enough, that I didn’t even hear this on my initial tests in my living room. But in the night, it’s a very distracting sound (to both my wife and I) when trying to sleep. We’ll be moving it off the night stand as result. Again, comparing to our other humidifier, we would have no issues sleeping next to that one.
Btw, I do have to mention that I enjoy that the dehumidifier displays a nice “FU” on the display when the reservoir is full. Interesting choice there haha.
Bottom line, this is (at best) a 3 out of 5 stars at it’s current price of $90. This probably would have bumped to at least a 4 out of 5 had it been properly priced in the $30-$40 range.

I bought this for my son’s room, as he has an issue with drying sinuses when sleeping. After the first 2 days, his breathing has been better overnight. I’m not saying this is a miracle worker, but this machine makes a difference. The air purification is noticeable, as well. Also, this is pretty awesome athletically for a kid’s room! The lights are actually a pretty cool touch. Easy to set up, came with an extra filter… Definitely recommend!

It does a terrible job at dehumidifying and filtering the air and does a subpar job of humidifying. Whoever decided it was a good idea to put a white light behind white plastic deserve the Julius Caesar treatment. The buttons are almost invisible outside of darkness, making it extremely difficult to use. The tank is so small that I have to refill it 2-4 times per day. It measures the humidity next to the dispenser, so it reads an inaccurate, much, much higher humidity
that it should (checked against hygrometer) and shuts off. For the room I use it in, I have to set it to 13% higher than the humidity that I’d like. The light is annoying, but I didn’t use it long enough to figure out if it can be turned off. It was not worth the $70 that I paid for it. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.
Update: I woke up today to find a fine layer of condensation on every surface and the humidity in the room dangerously high at 99% as recorded by my hygrometer. The unit was reading 88% even though it should have shut off once it recorded a humidity of 50%. This product needs to be taken off of Amazon.

This is a great humidifier but NOT the dehumidifier at all. First of all, this is a compact size low noise machine, great fit for desktop or countertop. Easy to use, simple click the switch button and it runs non-stop. I live in south TX, humidity all year long, I do have 3 large dehumidifiers in my house, the water will collect full after around 7 or 8 hours running and the humidity % will goes down from 70% to 35%. But this little machine didn’t do anything, I leave it on for over 24 hours, and the % never change, also the water only collect for maybe 5% of the tank for that area. I thought it was broken, so I switched to the humidifier and works fantastic. So, I want to say, if you are looking for dehumidifier you need to skip this, but again if you want a humidifier, you may need this one.

I ordered this because my old humidifier was on its last leg. I expected to use this as a humidifier to start but it’s unseasonably warm so I’ve only used this as a dehumidifier so far.
It seems to work well. I’ve gotten quite a bit of water out of the air. It has a light on the top to indicate that it’s working, along with the digital display by the controls.
It needs to be plugged in, so no battery power, but it has the option to collect the water from the air into the collector basin or a tube to pipe it into the drain.
I do like the smaller footprint of this unit and that i am able to use it year round vs having to put it in storage for half the year.
It’s also pretty quiet when running.
It came with one filter in the unit plus one extra filter.
