I had close closest that my cat lived in after he became blind and had incontinence problems. My closet developed a strong unpleasant odor that persisted even after he died when 22 years old. The cost was low, the output was high, and the unit seems well made. We had some weird phantom cigarette smoke smell in our garage that leeched into our car and this worked, but it did take 3 hours total (1 hour, three times over 3 days). IDK, maybe the odor was from a transient spirit who moved on and this had nothing to do with it? Whatever, the ozone leaves a nice clean scent behind.

This is not to be used constantly. It is too powerful to use while people are in the room or space being cleaned. Remember, it does not help if the source of the odor is not removed. For example, if you are cleaning up after cats that use your floor for the bathroom, you must first clean all of that up and clean the floor the best you can. Then use this machine to clean the air. It is like bleaching the air and will smell like bleach for a while but that is a clean smell and not just perfume. I have used this machine on several old, musty houses, and it always works well to make them smell clean and fresh.

TL;DR : Works on everyone’s stupid desire to make everything heavily scented.
I bought a car from Carvana..I know I know, and it smelled horrible. My best guess is they used one of those scent bombs that you set off like a bug fogger. All I know is it horrendous and like having to drive a box of fabric softener everywhere. I have hyperosmia so my brain essentially makes strong smells into pain and this one was very painful I thought surely it would go away, but it only got stronger. We did everything from shampooing the carpets and wiping everything down, to trying to contact car detailers who wouldn’t even call me back. I was at my wits end and terrified to use my car which had already depreciated too much to sell it without losing thousands. This machine was my last hope and it did not disappoint. I ran it for two hours and let it sit closed up an addition hour. I didn’t leave it unattended because any electronics come with a risk of fire so I wanted to watch it. Opened the doors and let it air out to find I got my car back. The smell is still there just the slightest little hint of it, but I think running it one more time will be rid of it completely. Thank you for giving me my car back and my freedom to go places without causing severe nerve pain and migraines.

Unfortunately, this stopped working after a few uses. It was recommended to us by a friend, but we had a different experience than they have. It was easy to use, but didn’t seem as effective as the unit my brother has. Maybe we will have better luck next time.
