This machine seems to be a workhorse. We’ve been running it since late October, and our very large basement (1500 sq feet) is dry and pleasant. We set it, at first, on a preset humidity level and then switched to a variable, where the dehumidifier can go on and off to keep the humidity constant as needed. We use the drain hose to discard the water and that works perfectly as well. It’s very quiet; we have to go in the basement and right up to it before we hear it running. We don’t need a nice looking unit, but this one is nice looking. All things considered, this is an excellent dehumidifier.

At first glance this thing is small but don’t let that fool you, it does work very well.
I use it in my grow tent when I’m slow drying out my flowers.
I love the fact how you can set the humidity percentage.
This is very important to have a controlled environment in the grow tent.
I suggest using the drain hose that it comes with instead of having to dump the tray out when it gets filled with water.
I recommend this dehumidifier if you are needing a controlled environment.

0 draining, bad performance. I put it with a humidity of 55% in a 1.400 square foot room and next day the humidity was in 70% I read all the manual, I followed the instructions, I tried all the settings and nothing, same result. The capacity of water container is a joke, the unit is small and it looks more like a toy than a dehumidifier. It doesn’t do what is advertised, I’m having problems trusting on what is advertised on Amazon. There is almost no control at all on what Amazon is letting his vendor put in his publications, it doesn’t matter if is true or not. At this point is getting the same reputation as other platforms.

Unless you use the drain hose the water capacity is smaller than most’ although the unit is small, quiet and easily movable. However, like I said if you do not use the drain hose that comes with it you will be emptying the pan every couple of hours. Other than that one issue, it works great.

The smallest 50pt I’ve owned . Very quiet. I hear only the fan running when it needs to and a very slight compressor start up for
few seconds but definitely quieter than many on the market. Simple to operate but read the manual first. Power button and front display continually flash when it reaches set humidity level which I found weird at first. I would have expected flashing when it was working to drop humidity. Its humidity sensor appears to be accurate comparing to my 3 hygrometers in the room. It’s a guitar music room so proper humidity is crucial as is temperature. I just got it so how long it will last is unknown . Very fast at dropping humidity in a 10ft x 15ft room in my basement . Usually most sensors have to climatize to the area to become accurate but this has been accurate from the first time it ran. It might cover 3500 sq/ft but I have my doubts due to its size.It would depend on where the area is . Damp basements hmmm maybe. I can’t fault it except the bucket is real small but I knew that before buying. If you don’t have a floor drain probably could use the drain hose into a larger bucket or pail if looks aren’t important. lol I might even buy another one after I’ve had this a few months or more to make sure its still 100% working as it did new. Another plus is it doesn’t put out much heat in fact it hasn’t changed my room temp is so little. Update had an issue with it reading humidity at 10% error and running overnight created an odor which I can’t identify as to what it was. Contacted the seller to ask what might be wrong and they just refunded me and let me keep it. Weird because I said it works great except for those 2 concerns. If the odor continues I might have to stop using it so I’m hoping it a temporary new burn off in time smell. My review stands as far as the positive I’ve stated. I might have got one with a few issues

Recent storms caused flooding, and some water entered my home. I was looking for a dehumidifier to dry out the house to prevent mold and mildew. After doing some research online, I decided on this model. It arrived the next day. I took it out of the box and plugged it in. It immediately began drawing water out of the air. I could tell because the drip tray began to fill. After several hours I noticed that it had stopped running. When I checked, the drip tray was full. I poured almost a gallon of water out and it immediately began running again. I had to empty the tray several times a day. I then decided to put the dehumidifier on the counter connect the hose and let it drain directly into the sink. It’s been running ever since. After about a week, I decided to turn the fan down to low. It seems to work just as well, and it’s even quieter. It is much more comfortable now, and I decided to keep running it even though the house is now dry. Overall it does what it says, t’s quiet and compact.

I originally bought a dehumidifier with an internal pump but it burned out after 6 months. I love this dehumidifier, it’s quiet and big enough for the living room, where it has worked perfectly. The great feature is the wheel which is I can push everywhere in the house. It comes with a timer and speed. The humidity sensor is pretty accurate because I compared it several times with the humidity that I read from Nest Thermostat App. It works perfectly with the pump, and the water gets pumped through the tube and out the window. Additionally, it’s attractive, quiet, and compact. We have humidifiers in every single room but This one is great for the living room.
You won’t regret purchasing this product. It’s an awesome machine that REALLY works, I am really pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

Lightweight, effective. Silent operation. Only problem was instructions didn’t say anything about removing rubber stopper when using in continuous drain mode (caused filling of bucket instead of going out hose). Once I discovered that, all was well.

Unit is very small but seems to work well.
The collection tank does not hold very much water. If you have a drain close by, I suggest to use the hose to empty the unit on the constant dry mode If you are in a finished basement and have no drain in the floor , you will be emptying the collection tank often as the unit is efficient . The best part for me is the machine makes no more noise than a small fan and does not generate a ton of heat like others do . I am pleased with the purchase so far. I also got it during prime days !! So it was way cheap .

I recently moved and have sensors all over the rooms. I never had issues with humidity before, at least not knowingly and definitely not in my last place which was just 10 min car drive away. When I noticed humidity levels rising to 60% and above, I got concerned and looked into buying a dehumidifier. I had bought a 600 sqft dehumidifier first but was not satisfied with the results. Granted my place is larger but I would have expected that it should work in a closed bedroom at least. I was not happy with the results and decided I needed a larger instrument. I decided for this 30 pint version. I just plugged it in and hit the power button, it’s very straight forward to use. I was amazed about the results, With every hour I could see the results. After a couple of hours running time, I found 1-1.5L water in the tank. The smaller dehumidifier never had more than 1 inch water in the tank when running the same amount of time. The efficiency of this Britsou dehumidifer is amazing in comparison. I probably could get by with a single instrument and move it around my place as needed for every few hours. It’s very portable, not too heavy and I like the rollers. What is not so great is the water tank. It’s U shaped and difficult to handle, it already had slipped out of my hand slightly and water spilled on the floor. You’d definitely want to avoid that. But everything else is top notch. I like the humidity level indicator on the instrument and it seems easy to operate. I just ordered a second one.
