Initially I thought this was a nice unit. It worked great until it didn’t. I took excellent care of this and monitored it daily as I work in the basement. One day it just quit. I tried to email the company but it came right back to me undelivered. There was no other way to contact company. Poor service!

Works but a little to small for a basement.

It’s small, so it doesn’t work fast for my space, but works great! Would love a bigger reservoir but we love it!

This thing really does a great job at removing humidity from the air. I noticed a huge difference as soon as I started using it. The only complaint is I wish the bucket was a little bit bigger because I don’t have a place to continuously drain to with the hose, so that results in me having to empty the bucket two to three times a day. If you’re putting this in an area though where you are able to leverage the drain feature then this is a fantastic dehumidifier at a great price.

The unit works great for my basement. I keep it at 50%RH and it works perfectly. Yes, it has a small tank, but the unit is quiet and does the job

I recently purchased the Wellsle 50 Pint Dehumidifier and have been using it in my basement. Here are my thoughts:
Quality: The dehumidifier is well-built and durable, providing reliable performance.
Ease of Cleaning: The unit is easy to maintain, with a straightforward process for cleaning the filter and emptying the water tank.
Appearance: It has a sleek, modern design that fits well with my home decor.
Efficiency: The dehumidifier effectively reduces humidity levels, operates quietly, and offers smart humidity control with a 24-hour timer and continuous drainage option. It works fine in my basement.
Overall: While it’s a bit pricey, the features and performance make it a worthwhile investment for managing humidity in larger spaces.

We’ve had this dehumidifier for about two months and I am very happy with it’s performance. The dehumidifier we had to keep our basement bedroom dry finally died and I read through a lot of reviews here to settle on this one to replace it. Although smaller than the one we replaced, it is more effective at keeping the moisture to a comfortable level. The bedroom is about 10×15 square feet. The room feels great and I actually love to see the water bin fill up – I know it’s doing its job! Noise level is low and it was a snap to set up. We have a second dehumidifier in another room and I’m considering buying another one of these and replacing that one. Definitely a good purchase!

Since my last two dehumidifiers did not last more than 3 years each, I decided to purchase this smaller/less expensive one figuring that it too will not last. But so far, I’m not disappointed with this one. It’s running in a 1000 sq ft basement, probably a larger space than what it’s designed for. It lowers the RH from about 69% to about 51% running continuously. I have to empty the unit twice a day since the capacity is fairly small. It runs much quieter than my previous two larger dehumidifiers (they were 50 pint units). It’s quiet enough that I can still watch TV while its running without being disturbed – not the case with previous two units. This dehumidifier blows slightly warmed air and will raise the temperature of the space it is running. It raises the temperature of my 1000 sq ft basement by 2-3 degrees. This is actually a benefit as the basement is usually a couple of degrees cooler than the main level and thus evens out the temp. However, I would imagine that running this unit in a smaller space may raise the temp even more (if running continuously), so you may want to take that into account if keeping the space cool is a priority.
Regarding other reviews that cite leakage: The threaded drain plug cap on my unit was not tightened coming out of the box. I tightened it shut since I am using the integrated catch basin instead of the included drainage hose. If this is how the unit normally leaves the factory, I suspect that the loose drain cap may be why some experience leakage. So, make sure the cap is tight if collecting water in the catch basin.

Been running this for over a month now in my 900sqft basement and it is doing a great job keeping the humidity at constant 55, even with multiple fish tanks. I got theis to replace my previous dehumidifier when it got a coolant leak after 4 years of daily continuous use. This new unit is about 30% smaller, a little quieter, and seems to do the job equally well. Would recommend.

This is fantastic, works so well, I have it for my basement, we have it using the hose to drain into a 5 gallon bucket. It fills the bucket in 3 days.

Bought ahead of hurricane Helen 2024, and it’s been putting in the work. Brought a flooded out 600sqft room down from 80% to 55% in three days. Had it on my own for a bit before the hurricane, it’s quiet and efficient. Worth the money!
