I use them in my gun safe, working good

This product accomplishes what promises. The unique problem that im seeing is that the “window” isn’t so clear and you have to open the container and if you don’t do it with special care can result in a mess.

I use these in all of my rifle cases. They work well keeping my guns from rust & pits. You have to reset them every six months by placing them in the oven at 250° for an hour or two.

Seems good idea for what I’m using it for

A multi-function printer-copier was having issues with booklet finishing during a humid period. We bought these (along with a manual humidity meter) to help control paper tray humidity. Since installation, the problem has not returned.
Of course, with the dry environment of winter they are no longer needed, but we will keep using them in humid periods. Maintenance is easy: just heat them in an oven to drive off absorbed water.

Works great! Does absorb humidity. Would recommend for small places like closets.

As advertised and, in fact, imprinted on the tin, this is a 40g silica gel desiccant dehumidification canister. I have other manufacturers’ products that are slightly smaller canisters that contain ~35g of desiccant, so I was expecting this larger product to contain ~40g of desiccant, as was seemingly being advertised.
I was surprised to find this canister felt very light. Upon opening it, I found that it was less than half full of desiccant and, upon weighing its contents, it contained only 27g of desiccant. To be fair, the weight of the contained desiccant *plus the canister* does, in fact, weigh 41g, so TECHNICALLY the seller didn’t lie. However, if you’re looking for an actual 40g desiccant canister, be aware that while this one will almost certainly fit 40g of desiccant, it only comes with 27g.
I just received the product so I can’t speak to its performance as silica gel, but I will be testing that as well.
Update:
After testing, the desiccant had no trouble maintaining 16% humidity in an enclosed container.
I combined the supplied desiccant to fill the canisters I used to 40g of desiccant, leaving me with a couple of empty canisters. It would be worthwhile picking up some extra desiccant to fill the canisters.

Seems to do there job. I keep my 3D printer filament in a gallon zip-lock bag with one of these inside. Seems to help and they reactivate just as suggested.
