Note: This is not a rechargeable fan, so for portability, you will need a power bank for the included 1m usbc cable and also a usb plug, which is not included, if you wish to plug into mains. I loved the concept of this fan and, upon using the spray function, was expecting a spray, nope, nothing, and I’m not entirely sure why. I love that in addition to the small remote that I always lose, you can independently function by the touch panel at the top. It has three speeds which are all pretty gentle, but cold. And mulitple coloured lights to set the ambiance. It also rotates side to side, although mine gets stuck on one side and whirrs a bit before getting out of being stuck. I’m starting to think that mine may be faulty. If not for the faults it would easily be a 4 star and with a bit more power 5. Again, I may have just been unlucky.

Taoscare Portable Fan. 4 Speed Small Personal AC. Mini Evaporative Air Cooler with Touch & Remote Control. Oscillating/Timer/Night Light, Ideal for Bedroom, Home, Office, Study etc etc.
I am very pleased with this portable Fan. Not only does it look good it also moves a good amount of Air! 4 speeds means you can sit fairly close to it (on a desk?) and have it on low but still feel the benefit. Sitting further away then up the anti and go straight to speed 4. This is not the most powerful fan I have ever owned but it does the job well and doesn’t blow like a Hurricane but rather cools as it should.
One of the best things about this fan is the fact it works with a battery bank so becomes ultra portable. This will get plenty of use in our Camper Van over the Summer. Add to the plus points the fact it is USB C, Oscillates, has a timer, a night light and comes complete with it’s own little fully functioning remote and you get to see what this little fella can do.
The Manufacturers / Suppliers have in some of their blurb described this as a “Air Conditioner” which I think is a little bit of a exaggeration on what it actually is and can do. It does have a tank that you can fill with water and turn on a mist effect (I haven’t tested this yet) but that’s as close to “Air Con” as you’re going to get!
All in all a nice design Fan with extra useful features that will help keep you cool in the hotter months!

This is a pretty decent fan, although I was a little disappointed that it needs a constant power supply to work. I thought with it being portable it would be chargeable but you do need to power it constantly to use. If you have a power bank I suppose it is then more portable but I imagine it would use a fair bit of power.
It’s a fairly big fan, about a4 size in height but very light. The remote includes batteries and the power cable included is usb. When it’s on the lowest 2 settings you can barely hear it, which is fab for the quieter environments or sleep. Even on the highest setting it’s not particularly loud and all give a good breeze across the room.
You have different modes you can use for fan speed and pattern, there is also space in the fan to add water for a mist setting to cool and humidify the air a bit as well. I like the addition of the lights along the top too, they make a nice nightlight but also reminds me it’s on so I can turn it off before bed as it is so quiet it’s easy to forget! The front is touchscreen if your batteries do go in the remote but I found this a bit temperamental in how reactive it was when pressed.
Overall this is a really good fan and would recommend

As a fan this is pretty good. It’s not whisper quite, but pretty silent on the lowest settings. You can add water or ice to cool the air further, or add humidity, but I think it is a stretch to say that this is a portable air conditioner. It may condition the air, but it is not an “Air Conditioner” as most people would understand it.
I thought it might come with a battery backup as it comes with a USB cable, but it require permanent power. You can use a suitable power bank I suppose – I didn’t test how long that would work for.
Not sure I can really see any use of the lights, but I suppose it was the only other feature they could think to add to the fan after the remote control. As a fan it does its job, and I like the idea to add water or ice for further cooling – just don’t think you have found a bargain AC unit.

I got this for a heat wave bc my home office doesn’t have AC. I’m better off with my regular table fan. First of all this fan is weak even on highest setting. Secondly I can see that there is moisture on the front grill but I don’t notice anything effect from the ice water. I put in a lot of ice and cold water. I really expected better from this fan. I know it’s not AC but it’s less effective than a regular fan. Disappointed and do not recommend.

This unit is OK, and works as described well enough. It pushes through plenty of air and the misting function will be useful when it’s particularly hot and dry.
It’s powered by a USB C cable which means you can run it off a phone charger, powerbank or laptop/PC (providing it can output sufficient current). There is no battery built in, but as it can run from a powerbank you can take it when on a picnic or camping etc. The unit itself is not too big so can be considered portable.
While the unit is fairly small, to me it seems like the fan component itself could be a bit bigger. It looks quite small compare compared to the housing. Because the fan is small it has to run at a higher speed to be effective, which results in louder noise. I have it on my desk in the office and even the lowest speed it too loud for me. If the fan was another inch or so in diameter, or just a better quality one, it would be able to move a similar amount of air at a lower speed, meaning reduced noise. Forget about the lights, put some more into a better fan component.
