Came double boxed and well packaged. It was surprisingly heavier than I thought it would be. The dehumidifier was easy to set up and use. I love the timer feature as well as the setting modes. It runs fairly quiet. Has a hose attachment option in the back for continuous drainage or a fill tank that will alarm when full. The size is perfect to tuck in a corner or off to the side while using. Small enough to store in a closet when not in use. I deep cleaned my carpets with a carpet cleaner and ran the dehumidifier to help dry my carpet. It cut the drying time in half. I also used it in my laundry room to dry my hang dry clothes. Worked amazing

My basement has needed a dehumidifier for several years despite having central A/C. I found this one and liked the large tank and the option of the drain tube.
It also had a discount coupon on site so I got it for less than $200.00 bucks.
A little heavy but it wasn’t too bad for this 72 Y.O. guy getting it down the stairs. Easy to set up but it was packaged flat so I had to let it sit upright for 24 hours as the owners manual states.
Plugged it in and hit the on switch and it went to work. Display stated 88 percent humidity. After 5 days I’m down to 51 percent.
Several different modes of operation to suite your needs
I would buy again and might get another for my main floor next summer.

This little unit has been working great for several weeks now. The water reservoir is 52 ounces, not 52 pints, but it has been humming along great.
It’s been in my insulated garage for 6 weeks doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. I empty it daily.
Only one small issue, easily fixed. The float that is used to tell the unit the reservoir is full can stick. I’ve gotten in the habit of shaking the reservoir up and down after emptying to make sure the float is not stuck, and haven’t had a problem with that since.
It’s quiet and keeps my garage at a decent 47% to 60% humidity provided no one opens the overhead door for a long period of time. I have multiple thermometers / hygrometers in the garage (I keep hardwoods in there for woodworking).
Not sure if it will work for others the same, but I’m quite happy with this unit. When winter sets in the humidity plummets here in Michigan, so I won’t need it during those months; so I’ll store it then.

I’ve only had this 2 days. I’m a dehumidifier veteran owner, so I’ll share my experience. I have an unfinished damp basement that I run a dehumidifier in about 8 months out of the year.
This one is the quietest I’ve ever owned. I don’t even hear it run. Despite it being quiet, it is very effective pulling moisture from the air. It also uses less energy than any other machine I’ve ever owned. Those are strong selling points for me!
The one negative I have is the catch bucket holds less than a gallon of water. Notice I didn’t say about a gallon–it is less than a gallon. It’s about 2/3 of a gallon, so I’m emptying this thing every 5 or 6 hours. Yikes!
It comes with a hose (another benefit!), and I’ll have to rig up something where I can empty it into a 5 gallon bucket or something similar.
The buttons and icons on it are easy to figure out. For me, the rubber hits the road when it comes to longevity and we’ll have to wait and see how many years it lasts.
EDIT: after 2 months of continuous use, I continue to be impressed by this little machine. Attached is a picture of my setup. I have the dehumidifier on a chair draining into a 5 gallon bucket. I keep my basement at 50° humidity, and this dehumidifier pulls out about 5 gallons every 5 days. Again, after 2 months of use, this dehumidifier averages 3.2 kilowatt hours per day, and since it’s summer, I have not turned it off. Quiet, efficient, and effective! That’s a tough combination to beat!

I like it took moisture outta the air. Kept my plants healthier. Good for growing plants and breathe better.

I had high hopes for the Andte 52 Pints Energy Star Dehumidifier, but unfortunately, it has been a letdown. While it does remove moisture from the air, the unit is quite noisy, even on the lowest setting, which is disruptive in a living space. The water tank also fills up quickly, and the unit automatically shuts off when it’s full, meaning I have to empty it frequently. To make matters worse, the humidification level it displays seems inaccurate—sometimes it shows the room as being much drier or more humid than it actually feels. For a dehumidifier in this price range, I expected better performance and convenience. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet and reliable option.

This would be a 5 start review, except that the tank is quite small. If you are going for the drain hose, this is the dehumidifier you want. It is small, efficient, and my wife is pleased with is appearance. The tank is small, but easy to empty and I like that it has a cover to limited spills.
Updated
The tank is plenty big if you set the dehumidifier to a reasonable humidity. At 60 percent it will need to be emptied once every 24 to 36 hours.
I had it set to 40. And it kept the house at 40, but filled up quickly. Go figure. So I have changed this to a 5 star rating.
I’d also like to mention that it is an aesthetic dehumidifier.

Ver impressed with this dehumidifier! Works very efficiently and is surprisingly very quiet! Packaging was fantastic being doubled boxed and not damaged! It is kind of heavy but very easy to store away due to compact size. I love the hose feature for the continuous use. It help speed up the process to dry my carpets after shampooing!
