Received yesterday on 7/11/24. Purchased due to unbelievable humidity levels even though our ac, which is only a year old system, is running constantly to maintain an indoor temp of 74 F. Feels like about 85 F at times. The setup was easy and very straightforward and only took 5 minutes. This unit is not too large but it is heavier than you would think. I believe it’s 32 lbs. The unit ran for about 6 hours set at 50% RH and the tank was almost full then but with a very noticeable increase in comfort overall due to the decrease in humidity. Tank emptied around 9pm and by 10 am next morning it automatically shut off due to a full water tank. The tank is very easy to empty. There is a hose and siphon method. A garden hose hook up or just pull out the tank and empty. Pulling out tank is easiest method. Not heavy and there is a sturdy handle for carrying. The air coming from ac vents feels dramatically cooler and very noticeable due to decrease in humidity. This ia a 5000 sq ft unit and has a 95 pint water tank. Two full tanks in 24 hours is impressive. My house is about 2000 sq ft so the one unit is more than enough to accomplish goals. Nice unit with no problems so far. You also get an additional 3 yr extended warranty but you have to register for it. My only complaint is the website link and instructions for getting warranty are not clear at all or doesn’t work. I contacted support and am waiting on a reply. They claim up to a 48 hr reply time. It’s been about 12 so I can’t give a definitive answer on how this will be handled. For the price and warranty this seems to be a great unit that has proved itself in less than 24 hrs.
Update to initial review…….I mentioned the warranty and that I was waiting on a reply. Their support department actually replied the same day and sent me confirmation the 3 yr warranty was activated. It was an email issue that was actually my fault so I just wanted to clear that up. To request the warranty just fill out the email / support request that’s on the page for the warranty link and tell them that’s why you are contacting them. They will take care of it. I’m totally impressed with machine and service at this point.

This dehumidifier works very well, love the easy to, intuitive buttons. Has a “continuous” mode that is a great feature for the direct hose connection that’s included. The “mirage” feature displays the rooms humidity level on the front of the unit making it easy to see from across the room. Great for damp basements based on my experience, and if important, runs with minimal noise.

Second VG360 Purchase Experience: The first dehumidifier is working so well; we bought a second one VG360 dehumidifier for my daughter’s basement apartment. It has also been working great, and she loves having it. This model uses much less energy than comparable units, thus producing less heat and keeps bills down. Operation is straight forward, the tank is easy to read how full it is and easy to empty. At $200 after a $30 coupon, these are well worth it.
The filter is easily accessible, and should be very easy to clean when necessary also. The VG360 circulates air at a rate of approximately 103 cubic feet per minute or 6,180 cubic feet per hour. When registering for the extended warranty, they respond promptly, which increases my confidence they will respond quickly if in an outside chance I need to use the warranty. From our experience, you will be very satisfied with with this unit no matter what size area you are trying to keep dry.
First VG360 Purchase Experience: After using the dehumidifier for a week, I can say I’m fully satisfied with it, and a 3-year bonus warranty is icing on the cake. The unit appears to be constructed well and is easy to use. When working in my basement, it doesn’t take long to feel the humidity since we have no circulating air in the approximate 800 square foot workshop portion. It quickly starts to feel like I’m in the Midwest with high humidity, though living in the dry climate of Utah. Immediately upon turning the dehumidifier on, I could feel the difference in the air coming out. Right now, I’m having to empty the tank once a day (over one gallon) with how effective it is. I will most likely end up using a longer hose to run it to the utility room for the automatic drainage. If living in a more humid climate, you will want to use the automatic drain if at all possible since it is capable of extracting much more.
By the way, if you’re like us and need a fan running to sleep at night, this could also fill the bill.

I recently got the dehumidifier for my basement, and it’s works great. It was easy to setup, quiet operation, and it works so efficiently. It was able to lower the humidity very quickly, in a small amount of time.. The humidity levels in my home has improved significantly since I started using it. It’s also stylish and compact, a looks great in my living space.
