This AC is great. Yes it’s kind of loud when the AC kicks on, but the cooling power is strong, and it’s not so loud that we can’t hear each other talking. We have a one bedroom apartment and this unit cools the entire apartment down, with it pointed to blow down our one hallway. The only issue we’ve had with it at all so far is that the window slide was wayyy too long for our window, which is an average sized window, so we had to snap the plastic slider in order to get it to fit correctly. Other than that, it runs exactly as it should, it’s small, fits neatly next to our tv stand without taking up tons of space, the remote works great, and I’m so cozy now in our apartment instead of melting all day. I truly could not be happier with how well this AC cools the place! And I’m so grateful that it hasn’t required any draining of condensation yet.

I like the design of this as it’s lightweight and portable. Seems easy to use and I like the style and design

It works well for about half the square footage advertised—which is all we need. It definitely cools the area in front of the unit, although if you walk past it there is no cooling. Would like it to cool a little better, but it’s adequate and worth the money. We’re using it in our RV to supplement existing AC when it’s super hot and we have a campsite with no shade.

I bought the 8000btu unit for a small dorm room. It works very well for that purpose. It suited our needs of not requiring any permanent or damaging modifications to the window to install. There is an expandable panel that fits inside a small window opening, which fits the exhaust hose. There was nothing to permanently attach to the window. There is a drain pan for condensate. We raised the unit up and ran a hose out the window for it to be able to drain continuously since it’s very humid here. I liked the adjustable louvers on the front to direct the cool air wherever wanted. It operates quietly. Just fan noise, which isn’t very loud. Easy to sleep in the same room with. Provides comfortable temperature and less humidity.

Easy to set up and operate. Find or quite quiet when running and ideal for bedrooms. Very easy to put into position and like that it’s not a permanent fixture so I can move into different spaces or pack away in the cooler months.

I am a widow and had to set this up myself…and the piece that comes with it to set up
In window is to big and is a hard plastic…and almost impossible to cut, so I had to buy another adapter kit…cost me extra money on top of cost I already paid for the a/c …once I unboxed it and laid all the parts out…I noticed the window adapter kit wouldn’t work…I bought this because I was expecting company and it was super hot outside, so I found an adapter kit that was shipped the next day…the room it needs to cool is within the 459 sq ft for cooling , but it only keeps it at 72 to 73…and wont go any lower no matter how low I adjust the temp…(yes I like my room I sleep in to be super cold)….it makes kicking on and off noise which is disturbing….so I am stuck with this…I used it while company was here, and I am disabled and it would be a hardship for me to pack it back up and send back…( I don’t have family or friends that help me with it)….was hoping I would luck out and get a good unit without any issues

I purchased the 14,000btu dual hose air conditioner for the first floor of our home. It is about 700 sqft. This air conditioner cools the entire floor. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom all to 76 to 78 degrees comfortably. I went with lifemaster brand because I previously purchased 2x 8500s for two of the bedrooms and I love them. This 14000 tu dual hose didn’t disappoint. It is quite strong. It cools the entire floor. You do have to cut the window plate for standard windows which isn’t a big deal. The larger until doesn’t cut off after reaching the temperature set. It does seem to lower the speed and switch to a fan but the display doesn’t change. After using in 90+ degrees temperatures I have found that I love it. This is coming from someone that had central air for 20 years. The entire floor feels the same temperature. I can’t speak to longevity yet but I am hoping that this beast lasts because I love it. I picture it next to our sofa to show it is large. The 8500s are a ft smaller. The larger size has significantly larger power.
