I put this air conditioner in my window in May and it worked perfectly. Then yesterday evening it began making a beeping noise and shutting itself off. I didn’t want to return it but wanted to troubleshoot. I contacted the seller and they basically told me that I was on my own! They told me to look at the paperwork that came with it and troubleshoot it because my warranty was up. That reply from the seller is unacceptable because I wasn’t trying to return it for a refund but just needed help troubleshooting. I don’t know about everyone else but $400 for an air conditioning unit is an amount that I can’t afford for 2 months service. So beware when you purchase this unit because if you have a problem outside of your 30 day warranty then you’re on your own!

It will make 144 sqft room cold only complaint is even om low it is extremely loud. Otherwise I’d gave it 5 stars because it does its job.

Little unit gets very cold! It’s also very noisy and daylight comes thru the thin plastic inside the unit.

Great air conditioner. I paid a little over $100 for it brand new (Spring 2024), and it was worked great. Keeps my room cool. I would definitely consider purchasing another one. It was easy to install. The filter is easy to clean. It’s not real loud. Sounds like any other air conditioner I have owned.

I bought this AC once and when we installed it, it started working great and got quite cold and then stopped blowing out cold air. I figured maybe it was an issue with shipping and maybe it go jostled around and maybe there was leak of Freon or something, so I immediately returned it and then ordered the same one (bad idea). Same thing happened with this one. I am not certain if it’s because it’s 5000 BTU’s or if it’s just a crappy AC. I kept this one because I didn’t want to be bothered with the whole deal with returning it. I had to leave for vacation and simply did not have the time. SO I have a bum AC that does not stay cold for anymore than 10 minutes. I am gong to have to suck up the $160 and go a different route and buy something that I can test drive before taking home with me. Also, it did not come with a remote….another bummer. I thought it did.

Bought this for our employee break room. Has great air flow and is powerful. Cools our small break room down quick. Auto-Off feature when it reaches the set temp.
