   The typical AC unit requires approx 10”-12” clearance on the back side for ventilation, this mount only allows for 3” on a Cooper Hunter 9000 BTU Series. The lag screw bolt heads that were supplied are too large to use a socket to install it. The plastic inserts that were supplied with the lag screws spin in the wall and do not grip. If everything fit as described and the hardware was sized for the bracket, the installation would have been easy. Unfortunately i didn’t start the install until 34 days after i purchased the bracket and i can’t return it. Shame on me. The assembly was straight forward, it was all the details that turned an easy install into a nightmare. I used lag shields and 1/4” lag bolts in the comparison picture. I since ordered another bracket that gave me 11” of clearance on the wall side.

   I was skeptic when I ordered this wall mount, but is easy to install (I used 3/8 x 3-3/4 wedge anchors for concrete) and pretty solid, good for my 28000 BTU unit

   I choose this bracket so that it would fit across 3 studs. What I received was not 33 1/2″ as pictured. It only measures 30 3/4″. I will make it work, but I will have to modify to have it fit where I want to mount. It seems to be good quality, just not properly pictured or a different item was shipped. Disappointing.

    Top bracket which both hangers mount on and are able to slide for the proper width of the compressor unit .The bracket itself is designed to short and the slots cut in it will only allow you to line up with one wall stud at 16 inch centers , the other two slots are expected to be lagged into plywood with plastic inserts ? I ended up mounting three 2×6 boards 36 inches long horizontally against the wall ,lagged into 3 wall studs then mounting the bracket onto that . The bracket itself seems strong enough ,but be CAREFUL how its mounted ,the compressors are heavy !

    Very nice bracket for a mini split unit. Managed to mount over cedar siding with some minor shimmimg issues to keep unit level at support arms and across the top. Was able to figure out all the hardware but some instructions would have sped up the installation. I would recommend.

    This support works great and installs easily. the bracket is fairly sturdy and although the hardware was not particularly usefull for my install… there was some provided.

    overall, I reccommend this unit for supporting a small minisplit outdoor unit.

    16″ on center studs need longer wall bracket – 31″ will only hit 2 studs. Purchased this because images shows 33.5″ wall bracket
