The unit tells you it’s charged with Freon but it’s not ! Had to spend 250.00 more to have someone come out and charge it!

I purchased this unit for my Office/Shed. It is 12x8x12 tall since it has a loft. I insulated the walls and had a polycarbonate roof for the light. This unit keeps it at 72 degrees or cooler all summer without any issues. I may update this after winter to see how it heats.

Ordered 1 when it arrived box was all tore up and cooling fins and pipe damaged. Ordered another one and same thing. Box all tore up and retapped with pieces missing and oil all over the lower unit. Will buy a different brand.
Plus I’m told I have to wait 30 days for a refund. This is totally unacceptable.

I bought a 12000 BTU unit which is no longer listed on Amazon, it is clearly listed with WIFI (smart) and even came with a WIFI specific instructions but NO WIFI. Instructions are not good and confusing if you don’t know what you are doing I would not recommend DIY. However so far this is a good unit and my central air was struggling and this is a good add on and both AC units not are not straining.

This item didn’t work when we installed it, believe the mother board part of the unit was faulty.
Bought one and it works great. Easy install and no problems. Got a second one for another room and condensing unit came with only partial charge of R410. Gauges show under-charge and no cooling. –

This unit was no more difficult than any other mini split to install, I do like the Wi-Fi feature it’s quite handy to be able to turn the unit on or off while I’m away from my rv. It heats and cools just fine but the chemical smell coming out of the head in cooling mode is very very bad. I have a different mini split in the front of my rig and I’ve never had odor issues like this.
