Someone from customer service messaged me and was able to replace my defective device with a new one.
I received it very promptly and it’s been great! I wanted to wait awhile to make an update so I see how it works and the new one has been amazing.
I switched rooms a few months back, and recently my new room got flooded from rain and there was a funky smell. This has been great at making my room smell fresh. I love it and definitely recommend.
BUT you should be careful and maybe put it on some sort of drip tray in case you get one that leaks, I did see a few other reviews with the same issue. I also noticed that my new one arrived with a piece of hose/tubing and spare plugs, both for the water reservoir, but my original one did not.
All in all, I’m glad they stood behind their product and offered to replace it. It shows integrity — and they’re the ones who reached out to me! I didn’t even have to go and complain. I was just going to return it and order a different brand.
I have an odd room with an odd closet, with an odd cut-out in the wall — as you’ll see in the pic.
I put the device on the ledge of the cut-out, as you’ll also see in the pic, circled in red. It leaked all over, causing damage, and when I went to empty the water out a stopper for loose and I lost it.
Definitely do NOT recommend.

Love that it’s small and quiet, great for small room that gets stuffy. Takes out moisture but can also purify air in a room that has a closed door, also good for areas with diaper pails, and litter boxes. Small size makes it easy to place, water container slides out easily for emptying. Attractive container fits into any decor.

The window to see the water level in the container from the dehumidifier is too small to be of much use. It also leaks. Afloia has not been responsive to my complaints or my warrenty requests

Purchased this Product March, 2023. Was Hoping this would be able to be a 2-3 year investment as with other other Dehumidifier/combination products.
****The reason why this particular unit receives a low rating For Overall and Value is due to this Unit falling short of my expected usage time. I started to use this Dehumidifier in April of 2023 & Failed in May of 2024. By failed, This Unit started to randomly Beep (cycled the 2hr, 4hr, 8hr sleep timers) while getting ready for bed, I proceeded to turn the timer off &moments later the panel lights for every button option (8 total) turned on/followed by flickering on and off, unresponsive to touch. I unplugged the unit, as there was a smell (no smoke), checked the bottom of the unit which was warmer than usual… The Unit is dead thus now I must begin a new search for another unit unless the company does reach out
this particular unit was decent. Variable Humidifier Fan/levels, decent air filter, noise was dependent on fan speed. It was noticeable but i typically sleep with sounds on. I usually ran it at low or Medium 95% of the time as my environment Usually has about 55-90% humidity, & would drain the storage tray every 3 days or so. . New Filters weren’t expensive (1 was included, purchased bundle of 3 for 25 bucks). Maintained the system overall to the best of my ability (went thru almost every filter)
It got the job done overall, Until it decided not to.

I already own two Afloia air filters. With the new humidity we have in SoCal, I needed a dehumidifier. This is compact, quiet and works GREAT! I’ve had it running for a few days now and I just checked the water tank. Amazed that it was almost full. This has all the bells and whistles you need in a smaller unit. I will definitely be getting a second one, eventually. It’s already making it more comfortable in here. The quiet noise level is huge for me. And even though I don’t usually use it, I’m glad it has a sleep timer.

Our air filter worked great until the fan stopped working after 6months of use. It was only used on weekends up until it stopped working. However, the customer service department reached out to me and sent a replacement within days. They also have a 2 year warranty, so if something happens they are happy to help! Definitely excited to have a replacement machine up and running again!

I regularly changed the filters and emptied the water tray and it just stopped working. When I reached out to the sellers they sent a brand new one two days later. Hopefully this one lasts more than 10 months.

Very little airflow that means this tiny device does virtually nothing per dollar that a larger device will. To test this: I have several sensors to monitor (Govee and Winix) to monitor both air quality and Relative humidity. First, humidity: I began with an RH of 76.4% in a room that I had removed all devices except the sensors. Closed doors and windows. The device on MAXIMUM fan speed and dehumidification selected without a time delay shutoff. 24 hours to the minute: 1% drop in humidity! Daily outside humidity had a 1.4% drop. While a slight amount of water had been collected, this is a terrible result. I conducted this over 3 more days with the best result being 4.7% room and 3.2% outside drop in humidity. Again, a slight amount of water. At no time was the receptacle full of water by any means and emptied each “test” day. My typical TCL and Frigidaire devices (three in total) fill twice per day in other rooms (That totals 80 pints of water in other rooms of the same house). I received a bathroom cup full over several days with this unit. Per dollar spent: This device does not work well enough to purchase in my opinion. Air purification did perform better, but again the results were so poor as to not be a good purchase. Clearly, I will be returning. Burning scent candles to create a “contaminant” in the same sealed room that the WINX sensor would indicate a “red” condition. The candle burned for 30 minutes took the WINX air purifier 6 minutes to return to the “blue” safe indication. Excellent unit the purifies with a very large volume of air. Unfair to compare the airflow of these devices (so I wont)… but the amount of time it takes to clean air is important. Testing the air quality ever 15 minutes and then every 30 minutes for two 24 hour periods totaling 48 hours. The results were pretty damning. Nearly 2 hours on day one and an additional 30 minutes on day two to produce the “blue” safe level the Winix unit cleared in 6 minutes flat. I would suggest that this air purifier took so long, that the contaminate settled and thereby helped the score along to a safe level. I am not sure how much improvement this device over just waiting a period of time would have resulted in.
