I really like this air Purifier! It seems to work great! It has picked up a ton of dust and dog hair! It definitely works. I don’t think it purifies the amount of square feet it says, but for just a room it’s great! Overall i’ve been very happy with it. But i wouldn’t count on it doing a big area

There is a sticker on the unit that says ‘refer to users manual’…there was not one included. Not that it takes a rocket scientist to use, but I would have liked to look at it for any limitation on use or what not, like ‘do not run for more than 8 hours straight’…
But I can already tell it’s going to improve my quality of life, as my cat gets pretty sheddy most of the year round and never leaves my bedroom. As for the noise, I was hoping it would replace the box fan that I keep running on low to drown out noise from roommates at night, (the uneven sound from the box fan is anxiety producing). Running the filter on high, it has a steady sound of airflow that will easily do the job; medium should do the trick as well…however, I can barely perceive the sound from two feet away when it’s running on low. Would buy again for sure.

Like the small/compact size. The air purifier is quite loud though. I have it on medium fan speed and it has a mild shake in addition to the noise.

This is not the air purifier that I wanted, and I was angry with my husband for buying the wrong one; however, it works really well. We have one downstairs and one for upstairs.
Before we started using this purifier, I had to dust daily – seriously. I could dust one day and write my name in dust by the next morning. Now, I dust only once a week, so the difference is quite noticeable. Also, we see much less dog dander in the floor. So…my husband made a wise choice after all! 🙂

I purchased Germ Guardian because the reviews were favorable. There was no discernable change in air quality. I couldn’t return it because there’s no return reason for “Doesn’t work as promised” So….I did more research to find something that would accomodate a central area and cover a larger area than a small room.
This model is basic with three fan speeds. No other bells and whistles, however, I don’t care about app access. I would have liked an air quality feature on the machine, but that still wasn’t a deal breaker.
I’ll let my Alexa remind me when it’s time to order a new filter.
This one does work as promised. I have two cats that seem to compete on who uses the Litter Robot the most.
I liked that it would scoop my litter, but there’s still going to be some smell at points. It’s positioned in a room near where the a/c vent pulls air in to circulate through the house.
My A/C company who comes out twice a year offered a VERY VERY Expensive system with a UV light and electrostatic filter. *AHEM* The filter replacements for their recommended system were ridiculous.
So…I decided on the next best thing and it was just going to more old school in the Air Purifier machine world. I’ve never heard of this brand, but reviews (as previously mentioned) were good, and the filter replacements are reasonable.
My living room and Kitchen are an open space so there’s no walls between the two, just a bar. My husband seems to have some kind of mental block that prevents him from closing the garbage can lid after putting something in it, and the first thing I smell when I walk in that back door is the dang garbage can.
Mom think’s I’m hypersensitive, but if I can smell it, so can someone else; it’s embarrassing.
I got tired of walking in the door and saying “It smells in here”
This machine actually does work as promised and I’ve been able to walk in my door and say “Hey, it smells decent in here” without any changes to husband’s poor habits and no relocation of the Litter Robot.
We used to be able to smell the hot, steaming dumps right after the cat went from the couch. I have not smelled it since we started using it. It’s perfectly placed by the a/c area where the evaporator pulls in the air.
My husband thought I had recently dusted and I told him that was not the case. So I also believe it is grabbing the cat litter dust before it gets pulled in to the area where the a/c filter gets changed. (I am at a blank on what that is called right now, but if you have central air, you will know)
Sorry this is wordy, but I wanted to share my experience for someone who does a lot of research before making purchases. Money doesn’t grow on trees and everything is expensive.

Changing filters is easy, they alert you to need to change. Recently got rid of our cat due to allergens and it still collects a lot!
Very functionally! These are quiet and do not make a lot of noise!
