I ordered this air purifier when a coworker shared the benefits of having one and how much they liked theirs.Â
With the stale odors that linger long after cooking and having pets, I felt my family could benefit from having an air purifier in our home. This is our first experience with having an air purifier, so I really have nothing to compare it to.
We have an open concept kitchen/living room area and decided to place our unit in the nook area next to our kitchen pantry. We’ve had this air purifier going for only 6 days and can already smell the difference! The cooking odors that typically linger 2-3 days after making a meal with onions or garlic dissipate almost immediately after the kitchen is cleaned and everything is put away. We’ve tested this with every meal since powering up the unit. Last night was fish cooked in a skillet, and within an hour, there were no lingering odors from dinner! This test was conducted by stepping out for a twenty-minute walk around the block and returning home to give it a sniff test.Â
This unit is white and blends in nicely without jumping out at you. We currently have it sitting on the floor but have plans to raise it off the ground for best results. We have it set on medium (second speed), and it is whisper quiet. If it weren’t for the light on top, you wouldn’t know it’s running without getting close to it.Â
We’re excited to see how this air purifier will benefit us with having two dogs and the smells that come with having pets. We’re hoping too that this purifier will reduce the amount of dust that we tend to get. So far, it’s eliminating the food odors, and that’s a start!
Although it’s uncertain what to expect as far as the life span of the hepa filter goes before having to replace it, I do like that this model is equipped with a filter replacement reminder function to let me know when it’s time to change the filter. I only wish this unit came with a spare filter, as the price point for replacement filters is a bit pricey at around $15. I think it would be safe to say that a family like mine with children, pets, and homecooked meals would be replacing their filter more often than someone who has no pets or eats out frequently. None the less, they would reap the benefits of breathing cleaner air.
Now for the cons: I don’t like the way the front facing of the purifier opens up to insert the filter. It has such friction at the top of the panel that I’m nervous the plastic tabs on the door will break when opening it.Â
Other than this, I do feel that this air purifier enhances the quality of the air. There are no lingering food odors, just fresh-smelling air.

First things to note: Unboxing and setup is a breeze (pun intended). Once you get the unit out of the box, open the filter area, unwrap the filter, grab the AC adapter which has it’s own storage compartment, plug it in and power on! I had this up and running in 5mins flat.
After I set this air purifier up and had it running full blast, I decided to rift up a huge area rug in our living room. I could see the dust and dander coming off the areas I could not vacuum regularly. In a bit of the sunlight that was shining through the window I could see the dust as it moved to the purifier and get sucked into the filter. It was almost mesmerizing! It literally inhaled anything that came within about 10ft of it so far as I could tell.
I love that the fan pulls from the front and pushes the filtered air out of the top. So many air purifiers pull from behind and push air out of the front, so if the purifier is not right in the middle of the room, it may only get the air from behind it, which may just be a corner of a room.
The last thing I really like is that the replacement filters are not that expensive, in fact they are very affordable compared to other filters on the market. I really like that!
All in all, I will probably end up getting another one of these because I want one upstairs and maybe a 3rd in the bedroom. I live in Nevada and dust is a huge problem, but I feel pretty good about it being less of a problem now!
*Edit*. I will post more photos ASAP, my phone just died and the pics didn’t transfer to my cloud yet

This air purifier covers the basics really well. The supplied HEPA filter is plenty substantial and come integrated with a carbon filter as well. The combination work well and I like how they have integrated them. Installation of the filter is pretty trivial.
There are 3 fan speeds and even at the highest speed, it’s not too loud. The lowest speed is surprisingly quiet. It’s also handy to have the timer capability. That’s about it for controls. I guess it also has a ‘child lock’ but I’m not using that.
From the online photos I thought this would be larger, but then, I kinda like that it isn’t too big.
When I compare features and size to a Coway Airmega I have in another room, this isn’t as large nor does it have the Ionization feature and the fan speed options are a bit better. But that one costed a LOT more even when I got it a couple years ago.
I’m skeptical of the “Covers Up to 1060 Sq Ft” but I can’t say I know how to verify that or not. That Coway I have is bigger and doesn’t claim that much square footage.
The panel to get into the filter is a bit tricky to get open but you’ll figure it out. I’m afraid I’m going to break off one of the tabs used to hold it in place. Just be firm but careful.
I have no idea why the white version is almost twice the price of the black version. It seems out of line. I imagine it’s purely consumer preference. Otherwise it looks like the features are the same.
