I ordered this unit for my unfinished basement. The product came packaged well, however the included hose was so pinched inside of the packaging, that it is useless. I thought it would still allow water to pass through after it was opened came to room temperature, however it does not. The hose is useless and I cannot drain this unit directly into the sump pump well. The unit also overflowed, instead of turning off and leaked water all over the basement floor. I tried a return, however I have already discarded the original packaging as I was not anticipating these issues. I would consider other options.
**update 4/2/24 – I purchased a new hose on my own and it appears to be working now. Customer service offered a minor refund for the inconvenience and purchase of the hose, which is greatly appreciated. Kudos to the company for caring for their customers. Updated to 4 stars from 3.

So my basement constantly has condensation. I got this to try and help with the humidity level since it’s been testing so high. I have ran it for about a week now. It’s quiet and holds a decent amount of water. It doesn’t take up alot of space. When the water compartment gets full it shuts itself off. Super easy to use. You can set the controls to how much humidity you want in the air and it balances everything. I was getting readings of 76% humidity and after day 3 I’m at 52%. I loved this purchase. I wish I had bought it sooner.

It works very efficiently to remove lots of moisture from the air. We live in the southern US, where it is very humid in the summer. This unit reliably runs 24×7 for us, and does a great job keeping the house comfortable.

**updated see bottom***Have had this unit running a month now…Out of the boc after storing upright for the recommended time, the unit did lower the humidiry somewhat in the basement but with 3 flaws: #1 unit leaks even with using the drain hose the small catch bucket oddly still fills up with water at times over flowing a bit. Wierd how the drain hose does drain yet the catch bucket fills also. Perhaps i have a leak somewhere but this happened right out of the box. #2 unit runs non-stop never reaches my desired room setting indicating to me its under powered and not the advertised 70 pints removal/day. #3 display panel lcd when pressing the mode button down for 3 seconds to checck room humidity level shows 138% or another larger type #??? Not sure whats up there. I feel this unit would perform maybe better in a small room it is pretty quiet that said either i got a lemon no customer service # listed in poorly written manual…looks like i’m out $$$ and buying a better unit elsewhere. *ipdate* Seller reached out and offered replacement or refund for the issues i had. Appreciate their strong customer service.

Since the day I received this dehumidifier, I had problems. It should have been returned immediately. However, I said it “must be me”. So I tried and tried – no water was being taken into the appliance. Finally. after three days (I assume it was dry enough prior) there was water. I could assume it was working. The next time the tank filled it overflowed. Had a fairly large poodle of water. Cleaned up and the next time it worked. The third time overfill. Cleaned up again – another large pool. Well then works and then it doesn’t. I realize I have waited too long to return this item. My advice to anyone would be not to buy it. Having the change that it overflows is NOT good at any time. This vendor has NO customer service number – no way to contact other than by mail (apparently). Stay away from this product. I am running it with towels as a backup. Once the summer is over I will dump it for sure. A wasted approximately $200.

I like that the dehumidifier has different settings and you can use it to cool off dehumidify. I like the wheels on it also very easy to maintain and take care of. I love this product. I don’t get a five stars often but this dehumidifier really deserves a high rating. It is really good. I am pleasantly surprised stream in the world.

This dehumidifier works great! We transformed our garage into my shop. It was so damp in there that I could hardly work. The dehumidifier is doing its job…..the shop is now comfortable to work in. My machines are working properly now with the moisture gone. The dehumidifier is quiet. I’m surprised at the efficiency for the small size.
