I bought this dehumidifier to keep my basement dry. I am a hockey goalie and store my gear in our basement, and it generates a lot of humidity. This humidifier did a great job of keeping the basement dry, and reduced the drying time of my gear, dramatically. It has many features, which I tried, but don’t really use, but can truly be useful. It is very easy to set it up, and to set the humidity level you want.

I purchased this product due to it being quiet and easy to move around. However, the product was defective as the control panel wouldn’t allow it to turn off. I contacted the company who immediately provided response. And provided me with a replacement after I tried several things. This is the second dehumidifier I’ve owned and it is sooo quiet and works great in my office. The top handle makes it super easy to move. Five plus stars all around.

Dehumidifier consistently experiencing issues. The sensor is reading random humidity levels that are not accurate. The dehumidifier is not collecting any water at all anymore. Seller said my warranty is expired and isn’t helping with the issue when this current dehumidifier is not even a year old. Frustrating.

I’ve had an AirPlus dehumidifier for my basement for a couple years now. It has worked so well and has kept the majority of my basement at a good humidity level and kept down that mildew-y odor for the most part. I have a finished basement with a bedroom that still suffers from odors as the current dehumidifier is not rated to fully cover the size of my entire basement. Clothes stored in the dresser and closet will come out smelling quite bad from the humidity. I’ve only been using this thing for a day in my closet and I am amazed how much water it has already collected. I have it sitting in my closet and I can barely hear it within the bedroom. I am actually disappointed that I haven’t pulled the trigger on a smaller dehumidifier for the bedroom until now. I’ve wasted too much time re-washing clothes to get the mildew-y smell out of them, just to have it happen all over again and again. I am hoping with the amount of moisture it has already sucked out of my closet, that this issue is now resolved. Yay!
If you need a dehumidifier for a small room, closet, etc., then I definitely recommend this model.

I appreciate its quiet operation and efficient removal of moisture, along with two options for drainage (comes with a hose for continuous removal or you can remove it manually). Had an operational question and found the customer service representative to be very responsive and helpful.

We had a tropical rain storm that left 3” of water and dirt on my basement floor. My old dehumidifier was ruined. Of course my old friend Amazon was needed to make a decision on a new one. I found Airplus to fit my basic needs of low noise, larger capacity for picked up water and power. It not only dried the air but the dirt that was left so I could sweep it instead of shoveling it. It was like a new toy for me and I bragged about it to my neighbors. I absolutely love the fact that I am emptying it so often,because it means it is WORKING! Thank you, Airplus for your help.

Product arrived last night and was relatively easy to setup. The supplied drain hose is a little flimsy but I’m giving it a try and draining into a condensate pump. After the required 2 hour waiting period I fired up the unit. It’s pretty quiet even on high. The console is nice and the colorful humidity indicator is really useful. However, I can’t get the humidity level to change – when I press on the appropriate place, nothing happens. I’ve pressed just about everywhere I can on the console and one time, yes, one time, the machine beeped and the humidity level blinked to show 40, but it went back to displaying the current level. I really don’t want to have to go through the process of returning the unit to get one that fully functions, so I’ll give it another day to see how well it’s pulling the moisture. I’ll update as I go.
UPDATE 8/24/2023 – The unit is running and has pulled moisture out of the air quite nicely. I did contact the seller through Amazon link to report the problem setting the humidity level. They were very responsive and asked me to send a quick video to show the problem. They arranged to have a new unit delivered with no need to return the old. That’s customer service! I’ll check back once that unit has arrived.

For its size, this is a powerful and well-designed dehumidifier. Unfortunately the first unit I received was broken but a few email exchanges with customer service (the rep helping me was excellent, BTW), they shipped me a new one and it works really well.
The handle is convenient, the controls easy to use and understand, and it pulls a lot of moisture out of the air. I have this in my 1300 sq foot basement and use the drainage hose to a floor drain. In 2-3 days the humidity down there dropped under 50% and it had been closer to 70%.
For the price this dehumidifier is great!
What could be better: the quality of the drain line could be improved and it would be great if the casters under the unit were removable.
