Seemed like it was doing it’s job for the first few months, but then stopped working. No lights, no fan, nothing. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. I tried leaving it unplugged for a days to try to give it a rest. No luck. It just died after about three months of use. Chinese made junk!!!
Update 08/28/2024…was contacted by the manufacturer and they sent a replacement unit. Arrived in just one day. The new one seems to be working fine. When these units work, they do a good job of removing all odors. I will update this review again in a few months. Hopefully the little unit continues to work, because it does remove odors!

They work but die quickly. I have gone thru a half dozen of these and they last a couple months then they just go dark. I have bought a couple from Amazon and a couple from the company website. It makes no difference. Same really, they are nice and work but only getting a couple months out of it just doesn’t make sense. I would take a pass if you want to use it frequently. If you are interested, in a couple the fan went bad and the one that went bad yesterday it was a 470k and a 22M Ohm resistor. So it could be fixed but not worth it. The older ones didn’t screw together and i didn’t try to open them. 🙂

I really liked this device and had high hopes for it. It was great for about a month, but then started making a noise and soon quit working. I liked the way you can have the ozone generated for either 1/2 hour or continuously. It ran quietly and made a soft “white noise” kind of sound.
UPDATE: in follow up to my review I was contacted because of the problem and a new device is on the way. Great customer service! I had not planned on asking for a replacement or a refund, but the replacement was freely offered. What a pleasant surprise! I do like the device and look forward to using it again soon.
This is an update: after several months this device continues to run very quietly and appears to do everything that it is supposed to do. The button used to initiate the production of ozone causes an almost imperceptible change in sound and the ozone smell begins. I understand this is helpful in stopping odors. I am very pleased with my purchase! I recommend not only this device but also the seller who stands behind the product.

Worked well in smallish bedroom, seems to have worked for moldy odors and others. I haven’t tried it for kitchen odors but expect that it will help. The instructions aren’t exactly clear: the lighted button on front works as an on-off button only when the side switch is in the off position; when the side switch is on the ozone or ozone and ion positions the machine turns on when plugged in -no on-off feature-and the lighted front button works to either run the device contantly or in intermittent on-off. This is my second one, the first having died at 15 months, so out of warrantly. But cheap enough to replace.

This product could have been great but has a large wart in its design: an irritating high pitched fan. No way can I use it in a bedroom or even an office. With that said, the ozone works well at zapping odors and creates the impression of fresh air. It’s just the right amount of ozone a small office, bathroom or bedroom. A fan isn’t needed on this type of product. I own several UV lights and blade style ozone air cleans with ozone generators and they put out more ozone but lack a fan. The best thing about this product is the timer: an endless cycle of 5 minutes on and 25 minutes off is great for keeping a room fresh when you’re out of the house.
11/30/2023 Edit: unit got hot and started smoking—a terrible toxic burning odor filled the room. Basically it stopped working and caught on fire after only 6 months of use.

We have an older vehicle that has been parked outside for a year under a barn in Florida. When we opened the car recently, there was green mold all over the carpet, doors and dash. My husband wants to fix the car up for my son but I was quite worried about the mold affecting his breathing after driving it for some time. We cleaned the car with Clorox wipes and I hung some charcoal air purifies but the car still smelled. A friend who owns a detail company told me to buy one of these devices. After running it for two 30 minute rounds, the car has no more oder! It was unbelievable. I have a very strong sense of smell and could not believe this machine worked so well.
