After hurricane Ian, mold, mildew, old damp fiberglass insulation being removed along with ceilings and some walls, I was having some difficulty with breathing and coughing.
My doctor told me to get an “air scrubber”. I had no idea what it was, but I’m very glad I got it. My coughing and breathing issues are on the mend.

We were having horrible issues with VOC fumes coming from the inks in our UV printer. We tried several air filters and had no luck. We could tell an immediate difference with this unit as it reduced the fumes in the room in less than 10 minutes.

They replaced my whole unit, picked up the old one hassle free, and are offering to send me the proper MERV 10 (I had bought the wrong ones). Big win when customer service is 100%

Loved it for a couple wknds, working on cleaning an apt. Then UV light quit. I put in a new bulb, same thing. It definitely cleans the air better when the UV light is working. Will be spending time to contact the company. Also, heads up, MERV-10 generic filters same size don’t fit, I bought some and they are too big by maybe 4mm. Alorair filter is $$$, dunno the brand’s MERV-10 but the HEPA is >50$.

REVISED REVIEW: I COULD NOT get these HEPA CARBON filters as Amazon was out. I ordered on Alorair Air as I needed them immediately as my demo job will be done soon but Alorair quoted 5-7 days to process and ship. I contacted Alorair customer service and they were pretty useless but nice. I finally in desperation crawled into my garbage and fished one carbon filter out and vacuumed it leaving me with two. I then EMAILED SALES, and gave them my order number and they were GREAT. They were able to revise my order to two-day AIR shipment so I won’t have to vacuum and reuse the carbon filters. LOVE THESE AIR SCRUBBERS . I bought two of these and they are working BEAUTIFULLY.

Overall this unit seems to be portable, relatively light weight and easy to use. There was no excess packaging, just the item in a box. Personally, I like that there is no styrofoam or packing peanuts to have to deal with. The unit itself seems rugged, and I did not notice any bumps or scratches from shipping.
Pros:
1. Relatively light weight
2. Controls are clear and easy to use
3. Access to air filter is simple
4. Ability to daisy chain multiple units

1. Can be loud on higher settings

Recently had some granite countertops installed. I had no idea how much of a mess the installers would make removing the old tile countertops. I had already taken precautions by covering everything in my living room and closing off all the other rooms in the house but wow, the amount of dust. I had 2 Levoit, 1 Blueair air purifiers and this 870 going(only on low as it is pretty loud) along with wearing a mask and the house was still inhospitable for me and my wife. After the installers left, I turned this baby on max and it cleared the air in no time. Wasn’t totally sure if I made the right decision initially but after that display, I’m positive that I did. It is a loud on max but it’s moving a lot of air. Purchased this to use in future projects around the house as some rooms don’t have windows for proper ventilation. Look forward to using it more.

This is a very well made heavy duty air cleaner that does the job, no fuss no muss. Delivery was swift and arrived in great shape, well packaged. No assembly required. Get it out of the box and it’s ready to go to work. The fan speed is variable which is a great feature. There is also a timer so you can set it and not worry. Overall, I would highly recommend it for cleaning areas where there has been water damage and clean up is underway.
