I got this replacement filter for the Amazon basics air purifier because it’s annoying when a device tells you it’s time to replace its filter when you don’t have one. This one comes in a nice corrugated cardboard box, so it’s easy to store in a garage or closet without being damaged.
I’ve removed the filter in our purifier when I set it up (you have to remove a plastic bag before using it for the first time), and it’s easy to do. You rotate the bottom cover on the unplugged purifier, pull out the old filter, and replace it with a new one. You then replace the bottom cover, plug the unit back in, and hold the filter replacement button for five seconds to reset the 2,000 hour replacement timer. That’s it.
There’s not much more for me to say about a replacement filter I’ve not used yet, but I have no reason to expect any problems. I think it’s always a good idea to have a spare on hand, and the price of this one is quite reasonable.

This air filter fits on various Amazon air purifier models too. Although this filter says ‘does not fit other models’, it actually does. For another Amazon Air Purifier that requires filter model B0CL97Z4K8, which isn’t available on Amazon yet, this one is a perfect replacement. So, if you’re looking for B0CL97Z4K8, this should work in that air purifier.

So I guess my filter was a bit past due for replacement. A day after the replacement filter is installed, the air purifier is running cooler and quieter with a noticeable increase in air flow. I’ll be changing these out more often in the future.

This filter works well and actually fits other purifiers comma so I was even able to use it in another purifier I have that wasn’t the Amazon one this was meant for period I was pleasantly surprised that the sizing was the same So It ended up working for me better than I expected.

Comes nicely packaged in a cardboard box, perfect for storing until you need it so you can have it on hand.
The filter looked a little smaller than it is in the box because the box is such a perfect fit, but I pulled it out and confirmed that it is the same as the original.
