I bought this for a client. She has her baseboard heater on in her bedroom at night when she sleeps. The baseboard heater is beneath the window, so some of that heat was leaking out of the window frame and the rest was staying in the window area trapped in by the curtain. As well, she had some furniture blocking the heat flow into the rest of the room. This portable radiator-style heater is better for her bedroom because she can roll it next to the bed (with safe space between) and have heat coming out closer to her, and then easily roll it to put it along the wall when not using it. It also keeps the temperature more consistent in the room than the baseboard heater. Also, most portable heaters are not safe to stay on when you are sleeping but this one is safe. The only negative is that it heats up an area very slowly, about a couple of hours, so don’t use it to quickly heat a very cold room.

This has worked 24/7 for two winters keeping my 12x12ft cat house warm. It has a thermostat so I just set the temperature and check it every couple of weeks. Hasn’t failed me yet. Quiet, even heat.

I made a mistake by not looking carefully for all the parts. I thought it was missing set of wheels. Turn out the other set was imbedded with in the radiator. Wheels were easy to attach. Unit appears to be working great. You just have to fiddle with the thermostat a little to get the temperature you want.

I bought this in August 2022. At the time, and up until the unit totally stopped working a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was a very good buy. The heater is silent and does not draw a ridiculous amount of electricity. It provides a very good amount of heat for such a small unit, and works just like a conventional radiator in a house. The wheels/casters make moving the 20ish lb radiator easier, but it’s not even all that heavy compared to other units. The controls felt a little flimsy, but they were fine to use, and usually I would just set the thermostat and leave the unit running automatically. I guess close to 2 years of regular use is all this unit is designed for. The “on” light still lights up when the unit is on, but no heat is produced. Unfortunately the warranty is only for 1 year.
It would have received 5 stars if I reviewed it as it was shortly after I first bought it. I’d take one star off because it didn’t last even a full 2 years, but I guess at this price point, that’s not too bad. Products seem to be made cheaper and more disposable lately. Another star off because when I bought this, it was $67 on Amazon (confirmed in my orders), and now the price has ballooned to $95ish, so costing $30 more makes this unit less of a value proposition than it used to be. 3/5 total. Very good budget radiator. Works well, puts out a surprising amount of heat very quietly, and hopefully yours will last longer than mine did.

This is high-quality, & solid. It heats evenly & quite well. Very functional. This winter I had to move a training class out to a warehouse & it was cold. After putting the heater under the table, it radiated out & kept the instructor & students comfortable – each day. Love it!

We bought to replace an old Pelonis unit that had finally given up the ghost after 7 years. The Amazon Basics unit has the plastic dials for adjustments instead of a digital display so that’s the only reason I noted it as 4 stars instead of 5. The unit works great but finding the temperature we usually use took a few days to get where we want it. To be honest we took advantage of an Amazon Returns unit for next to nothing to check it out but would definitely buy again for some of our other rooms when needed. This is a good value compared to the name brand units and works just as well.

I bought this as an open box item, and it was at an incredible value. The box is a little messed up from shipping, but the actual heater is in perfect shape. It’s a hit and miss when you buy returned items. Since it is the middle of summer and 100 degrees outside, I did not test this heater but I am sure it works. I will go back here to comment when winter comes and I will have a chance to fully test it.

Goodness, this little guy puts off some heat! I have a much fancier Delonghi space heater in another section of my house, but after comparing it to this space heater, the household cat enjoys laying next to this one much more. It follows the traditional radiator heating, where it directs heat above and it engulfs the room, however, the ‘heat sink’ like the Delonghi is not on this one, so you can feel a decent amount of heat on either side of the radiator as well. I will say that if you plan on moving this one around a bit, it is a little more cumbersome as there is only one real “handle” on the unit to grasp; but for just wheeling around in one area/room, it’s very easy.
Because it does not have a heat shield/heatsink like the Delonghi, it cools down significantly quicker when you power it off. The temperature control is kind of lame in my opinion, since you really do not know what temperature the device is cooking the area to. ‘Low’ ‘Medium’ ‘High’ equate to 65, 70, 75…? Not sure. But I tend to just leave it on the “3” setting which is the “High” temperature and it does the job in my office. I shut the door and it can cook the room to 75-80F in the coldest of months in North California.
Definitely a good budget oriented heater if you do not want to pay almost double for the Delonghi.

Mi Depa mide 40 metros cuadrados, donde vivo hace mucho frio por las mañanas y cuando hago ejercicio me doy buenos enfriones a tal grado que me llego a resfriar. Compre un enchufe programable y el calentador se prende-apaga de 4-9 de la mañana(4 veces por semana) y a las 7 que empiezo hacer ejercicio ya esta aclimatado. Cumple con su funcion pero eso si el servicio de luz paso de 800 bimestrales a horrorosos 1400 pesos.
