- WHY THIS BOVEDA: Produce optimal sound! Protects a bow & small woodwind instruments from humidity fluctuations. Maintains the ideal humidity level in an instrument case for an oboe, clarinet, flute or small woodwind. Each 2.75”x2.5” humidifier packet fits in a small woodwind or bow case. NATURAL INGREDIENTS. Trusted by over 3 million people to protect & maintain items at the perfect humidity level. WE GUARANTEE QUALITY! If you’re not 100% satisfied, reach out for a full refund for up to 1 year.
- HOW BOVEDA WORKS FOR SMALL WOODWINDS & BOWS: Boveda 49% RH protects wood instruments & their accessories by stabilizing the humidity within the ideal range—45–55% RH. If the air inside a case is too moist, Boveda absorbs that moisture. If it’s too dry, Boveda releases small amounts of water vapor into the case. Wide humidity fluctuations will cause the wood to expand or shrink, which puts stress on the instrument & degrades its performance abilities.
- CHOOSE BOVEDA: Boveda’s the only patented 2-way humidity control solution with 25 years of experience. Using saltwater in our humidity packs, we provide the fastest, most precise humidity control in the market for wood instruments. When you invest in an instrument, you want to ensure you take care of it to produce optimal sound. Boveda is the only humidity solution that can do so within 24-48 hours.
- HOW TO USE: NO MORE REWETTING SPONGES & HOSES! It takes seconds to protect your instruments for months with Boveda. Remove a pack from the resealable bag. DO NOT cut or open the brown humidity packet. Slip the packet into a Boveda Mini Fabric Holder (available separately). Place it in your instrument case or bow tube and latch the lid. BOVEDA DOES THE REST. Replace every 3 months. You’ll know it’s time to swap out Boveda when it becomes hard and crunchy. NEVER MIX the 49% with any other %RH.
- WHO IS BOVEDA FOR: Boveda 49% RH is for woodwinds and strings. Easy and precise humidity management for professional musicians, band and orchestra leaders, instrument techs, music teachers, hobbyists and student musicians. KEEPS WOODWINDS AND BOWS PLAY-READY—NO DAILY MAINTENANCE! Don’t risk damaging an instrument by adding water to sponges and snakes and forgetting to refill them. WHY RISK A WARPED OR CRACKED INSTRUMENT or the downtime of having your piece in a repair shop?

49% is where I need to be! Guitars and instruments that are solid wood need stored properly. I keep these in all my instrument cases. Great product 🎸🎸🎸

I recently bought a wooden flute. It has to be ‘broken in’ for about six months, which, among other things, involves being extra careful about the humidity level. I initially bought a plastic storage box and much larger Boveda humidifying pads (made for a guitar). It worked well, but was awkwardly big. Then I discovered these small pads and I put two of them in the flute case, which is much more convenient. The only thing is that the flute case is too small to measure the relative humidity inside the closed case, but the volume in the closed case is so small that I figure two of these little pads is good enough, and the flute seems to be quite happy with this arrangement after almost two weeks. Once the heating season is over, the relative humidity in the house will be higher and I won’t need humidification for the flute until the heating season begins again in the fall and the house becomes drier.

Nice wooden musical instruments (both big and small) can crack and split if not kept within their climate tolerances. These small packets (size 8) used for small instruments like ukuleles, mandolins, etc. The packets will both absorb or disburse moisture into the air around the instrument to maintain a specific level of humidity. They are manufactured for various levels of humidity so be sure to buy the ones that fit your need. Order the pouch and the packets to use together (don’t use the packets without the pouch!) I like them so much, I gave my brother pouches and packets for his ukuleles and guitars as a gift.

I recently started using Boveda moisture packs to help regulate the humidity in my cigar humidor, and I have to say, they’re pretty amazing. The packs are designed to maintain a specific level of humidity, which is essential for preserving the flavor and quality of cigars.
What I love most about these moisture packs is how easy they are to use. All I had to do was simply place them in my humidor, and they started working immediately. The packs are also long-lasting, so I don’t have to worry about replacing them frequently.
While they are a bit expensive, I think they are well worth the investment. The quality of my cigars has improved significantly since using these moisture packs, and I know that they will last a long time, which ultimately saves me money in the long run.
Overall, I highly recommend Boveda moisture packs to anyone who wants to ensure the best possible quality for their cigars or other items that require humidity control. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but the benefits they provide are definitely worth the cost.

Very handy humidity control pack for small musical instruments. Convenient to use. Just put it in the instrument case. Close the case and forget about it.

My accoustic guitar is housed in an environment that swings between 90/100% humidity to 11% humidity. To store my guitar better than the soft case it came with I picked up a hard case & these sachets to maintain a more even humidity. I am also trying one in my ukelele’s hardcase – one day I will learn to play it, until then I want to store it as well as I can.

I bought these before and they were big ones, however this time these are small packages.
I use them in my guitar cases. works like charm, however these are too small, so I must put 4 of them in each case

I`ve been putting bits of bread in baggies to keep my little cigars humid. These keep it steady.
