We bought my son’s car on an excellent deal, but the only problem is that it smelled like cigarette smoke. We had the car steam cleaned, and ran through an Ozone machine. I used this for a few weeks placing it in the car every night and recharging during the day. The smell is a night and day difference than what it was originally. Now you can actually smell the air freshners.

I got this to use in the bathroom, where I smoke my medicine (and exhale through a handheld filter, but there’s still a little leakage). Works great for that. At night, when I have the windows open, I put it by my bedside table to cut down on grass pollen. The blue light comes in handy for that; otherwise I turn it off so it doesn’t use the battery. It’s gotten a little louder over hard use but not bad, and it continues to charge well. The only thing that could make this better is a basic timer with an auto shut off.
Short Stuff –
It’s too soon to know how well I like the product but there is a couple of things purchasers need to be aware of.
1. The instructions say there are 2 “buttons” on the top for power turn on/off and light turn on/off. There aren’t. There is nothing that depresses to turn on like you would expect from a “button”. There are 2 engraved light on/off and power on/off indicators instead. You merely place your finger on those. There must be a digital sensor of some kind underlying the “buttons”. I thought I had received a defective unit.
2. It does not arrive charged. After plugging it in, I discovered that the “buttons” did indeed work.

The cab of my husband’s work truck was a little musty smelling, even after a thorough cleaning. He left this air purifier running in there overnight and the musty smell is gone. Great purchase.

Seemingly a good product. I like the color, size and idea of uv and/ or hepa however it’s so small when I turn it on high and place it touching my chin it’s nearly impossible to feel air movement and that’s how the air gets cleaned!
Even if it did work the filter is sooo small and the intake so low it would be impeded by the cup holder. Too bad.

CALODY Car Mini Air Purifier Battery Powered so far the battery does not hold a charge as it claims so I keep this plugged in like my original Calody mini Air Purifiers for Bedroom Home with H13 True HEPA Filter for Allergies. Performs well only when plugged into power. Value wise I’m not so sure it’s worth what I paid due to the charging issue. I have 2 of these at the same desk area and I’m not really impressed. I knocked some dust off a lamp only to see some of the particles be sucked into the little air purifier.

Product stopped working 4 months after purchase. The window to return has passed. Now left with a paper weight.

They were able to send me a replacement outside of the return window. So far the item is working great.

Using this was easy enough. I liked the portability and how it could work as a little night light as well but that’s about it. I used this a few nights in a row to try to clean the air in my room and got some of the worst sleep of my life. I would wake up groggy with dry, red eyes, and had a lingering headache during the day. I overall just felt terrible, like I was getting sick. I would start to feel a little better after leaving my room and getting away from this thing. I really wanted to believe that this would help with dust and other allergens and actually make me feel better, but unfortunately it was the opposite.
Weird how something that is supposed to help you makes you feel sick.
