Bought these for camping, and just keep them in my car year round and they work great. The pink is a little hard to notice, but you will definitely know when you have to recharge them because your windows will start to fog up. Recharge is super easy, but they do get very hot coming out of the microwave.

I put some Velcro to the dash and to the product to keep it there, but if you do that it will not only take overall moisture but will reduce the fog on the inside of the windshield a lot. Added bonus to that method, it stays in the sun and doesn’t need to be (recharged). Good stuff

I’m using two of these “car” dehumidifier bags for the old wine fridge to combat a condensation problem. A pool of water actually had formed on the bottom shelf. After drying out and adding the bags I now have a dry environment for my precious bottles of some of California’s best. Three weeks after adding them there is no hint of condensation. I’m sure it would work in a car too.

I bought the two pack for my car. Car is older and seals aren’t great. I live in a damp/humid climate and was previously using little damp rid tubs to combat the moisture in my car (which were regularly filling with water and needing to be changed out so I know that there is regularly moisture in my car!)
Thought I’d give these a shot instead to be more eco-friendly and create less waste. They’ve been in my car for 2 months, the dot has never changed to pink, and they aren’t collecting any water (haven’t changed in weight or structure or show any signs of any water being inside of the pouches. They feel and look exactly as they did day one when I placed them inside the car.)

I saw people were putting questioning posts. After a whole winter, these packs were actually working. I am living in Quebec, just had a cold and wet winter. No more fog on the glass!!! And I only recharged the packs in microwave for only one time. (I had two packs under the windshield and two in the rear seats)

Works great! It is very nice to not have to deal with condensation in my vehicles. I love that they are reusable. Just make sure you don’t leave them on fabric… the black transfers. If you keep it on something like a small Tupperware you will be fine.

 I recently tried out a dehumidifying pack and while it somewhat worked, I have mixed feelings about it.
On the positive side, the pack did manage to reduce the humidity level to some extent. Additionally, the pack was easy to use – I simply placed it in my car and left it to do its job.
However, I did notice that the pack didn’t work as well as I had hoped.

I purchased this product to help with the dampness in my vehicle because recently I found out that I had a leak in the car from the sun roof drains. It seems to have created a dampness in the car that fogs the windows on the warmer, but cool kind of days/nights and fogs up the windows. I dried the carpet as best as I can, but the wet/damp air smell is still in the car even when driving with windows open and AC on.
So far, this dehumidifier has helped keep the windows clear, and seems to have been able to remove some of the dampness in the air, hoping to see more results the longer it is used. Currently, it is positions near my front window and air vents and it does keep the front window clear. Have not noticed any fogging in the car since I started using it. As far is the use to removes smells, I still have that issue so far, but could also be the rug itself needing to be cleaned to remove the odor. Other than that, I am pleased with this product for what it has done for my vehicle so far.
