This really is more of a sanitizer than a deodorizer. It will indeed cut down on the odor, leaving kind of an “after lightning” type smell. However, it’s not an “always on” type thing (nor should it be). In the case of a litter box (and more specifically, a dirty one), the odor will keep generating in the room. So, while this works, don’t expect the room to be odor free after installing, but the smell will be kept down — and floating contaminants will be destroyed.
The unit is easy to install and use. It comes with a hook that attaches to your wall with double-sided tape. Stick it where you want, and then hang the unit. You can also use a nail or screw in the wall, it’s a standard mount on the unit itself.
The unit itself has three buttons. You plug it in, turn it on, and select what you want. It has five modes to choose from, the instructions let you know what works best for the size room you’re installing it in. Hint: you may want to set it to “the most powerful”, but you should be thinking about the most efficient. Plus, it’s likely to last longer at a lower setting.
It truly is hassle free. Plug in, set, dust every so often and in five years or so, replace. My litter box has a deodorizer tablet, so that, combined with this keeps smells to a minimum and contained to the laundry room where the box is.
If you’re looking for perfumes or other smells to mask the odor, that is not what this is designed for. If you’re looking for something that will “kill off” the things transporting the odor, then this is very good for that. And this would be good for many different organic odors, not just cat boxes. Kitchen, bathroom, musty basement… (It says it’s good for smoke removal; having no smokers, I cannot reply to that claim)

I have 3 cats and multiple litter boxes. This little device helps keep the area smelling great! I’ve been keeping the setting on the level 1 (on for 5min off for 60). Definitely recommend the product if you have multiple cats.

I have two cats in my household. Their litter boxes are in the basement, and despite regular cleaning, that area never smells good. Regular air fresheners only disguised the odor short-term, and I was looking for a better solution.
I’d heard of ozone air cleaners in the context of smoke removal in large spaces, but wasn’t familiar with a smaller-style device such as this Morrerfresh Cat Litter Deodorizer. After doing my own research, I decided it was worth trying.
Wow, I am so glad I did! This device works so well!! It’s small and easy to set up. The directions were clear, and after converting the metric measurements, I decided to set it on the lowest setting for the litter box area.
I installed the device up near the ceiling right above the target area. I have small children and didn’t want the settings changed accidentally. I came back to check on things about 30 minutes later, and there was no litter box smell at all! And there hasn’t been any since!
I am so impressed with this device that I’ve actually just purchased another unit for a different area of my home that could use some freshening. 5 stars!!

Removes the heavy awful odors as like they were never there. Got it for my litter box that 3 cats share currently. The litter box was literally right next to me when I was working as I just ordered a new type and with this bad boy, I never smelled a thing. Great investment and I am planning on buying 2 more soon. Overall, the performance and quality of the product was great. Has a slight smell when first used but overall, it went away and disappeared after using it consistently.

I installed this in the bathroom and I am pretty happy with the results. It makes the area smell better without the use of sprays or chemicals. It is a small unit so it is best used in a smaller room. It is easy to operate. I usually set it for 25 minutes on then off for two hours. You can always just run it and turn it off manually whenever you want to. Obviously there should be no pets or humans in the room when this is running.
