My dresser drawers (about two years old) have an odor, not completely musty, more like a woody smell. This was making my Tshirts and pants have the odor slaswell, but aside from the tshirts at the bottom of the drawers, this has freshened up all my clothes, even without washing.

My closets tend to smell musty and I’ve used the humidity crystals for years which work pretty well but had been looking for a different solution. These are easy to use and look very nice! I’ve had them in the closets for over a week now and haven’t noticed a great deal of difference. I put them right in the middle on a hanger so they aren’t obstructed. I will try to ‘recharge’ them as suggested on the next warm, sunny day but will keep them in the closets longer term to see if they do eventually help.

I bought an old vintage cabinet from someone that had a musty smell. Tried getting rid of the smell with vinegar but it didn’t work. I put all the charcoal deodorizers in there and they have definitely helped with the smell.

I like the fact that they are not frilled with smelly perfume. I put them in my closets and linen closet to take care of the musty odor.

I have purchased charcoal deodorizer bags and cedar blocks in the past and they always had a chemical odor of some sort. These do not, which is a plus. I also like the grommets on the 2 large bags that can be used to hang the bags in a closet or cellar (see pic).
So far I have used a large bag in a (formerly musty) closet, and it does seem to help absorb odors. Will likely be trying the smaller bags in a pair of shoes next and will report on that when I have more experience with it.
I deducted one star though because these bags are pricey compared to others out that with similar design and similar claims. For around the same price there are products that will give you 10 or 12 bags of varying sizes.
Also I cannot verify this company’s claims of using “organic charcoal.” I did not know there was such a thing, and I am not about to open up a bag and send the contents out for an analysis. I also am not impressed by their claims of the product being “carbon neutral,” that is not important to me. But if the product works I will report that, and so far these do live up to their claims of being odor absorbers.

Our closet in in our bathroom area and has the tendency to trap moisture, causing a weird musty smell. I put the 2 bigger bags on hangers, hung them off the clothes rod, and closed the doors. We left for 3 days and came home to little to no smell. It’s been 7 days now since hanging them up and the smell is virtually gone. I’m very impressed with the product.
