This unit is working fine for me this spring.

It came on time and was easy to install by myself. The only difficult part was getting it on the roof because it was so heavy. Works great!

When opening the box, and the unit unpacked, it showed extremely poor workmanship. Bent supporting structures – not diminishing functionality. A sealing plug was not in place – I put it back as best as possible, cutting my hand on the sheet metal.
After installation, the unit runs well, but during the night forms condensation on the ceiling unit, and now I found is leaking condensation through the roof lining, which will cause severe damage!
The unit works, but is of very low quality and workmanship. NOT WORTH THE MONEY I PAID FOR IT, AND IT REALLY SHOULD BE REPLACED WITH A UNIT IF BETTER QUALITY!

Everyone was right. Getting it on top of RV is the hardest part. Hook up easy and instructions good. Cover or shroud does seem a bit flimsy.

A.C. works great on my 31 foot airstream. easy to install. easy to get on roof with 3 people. one person on roof and 2 helpers on seperate ladders to bring it up. very happy with unit so far!

Unit works but was not how you expect a brand new Unit to look. Bottom all bent up, fins bent. Expected better condition. Box not damaged so packers knew condition. If we didn’t need it right away we would have sent back & not tried it
Disappointed
Joel G Carlson –
Really disappointed with what I spent $1,000 on. I have a fleet of trailers with rooftop AC units. I bought this as a spare over a year ago. Shame on me for not inspecting it immediately so I could send it back for a refund. Two of the three compressor mounts are completely unattached due to defective hardware and there’s no way to replace them! I’ll have to drill holes through the bottom and cinch them down with zip ties. Really, really poor craftsmanship and clearly no QC inspection of the unit before it was shipped. Also….one of the holes the mounting bolt screws into damaged the threads on the bolt. It screwed in 1/2″ and then got stuck. Fortunately I was able to back it out and had a 1/4 – 20 tap I used to repair the threads. I haven’t bothered contacting the seller about this as it’s been 1.5 years since I received it….long, long past the 30 day return window. Shame on me for not inspecting it immediately lesson learned. I won’t buy another Coleman AC unit again. Ridiculously poor craftsmanship for a $1,000 unit. With such lousy QC, I don’t have much confidence this thing will last long….if it works at all.

Took my friend and I about 2 hours to install (which includes the equipment inside the RV. Nothing difficult other than lifting it up to the RV roof and running a new wire through the RV (since mine was not pre-installed. Running this wire took about 6 hours.)
As to noise level… well, you’re installing a non-ducted air conditioner about 4 feet from your sleeping head. You will hear it.
