This heater is meant to help my baseboard electric heating system in my shop. My shop is 16×20 with 22 foot ceiling and a wall of windows facing north. I leave baseboard heat set at 45 degrees at night, so that’s where I start.
I needed a little more help getting the shop up to 60 or so degrees and then maintaining that temperature for the day. Now after a couple hours, I turn down the baseboard heat and stay comfortable the rest of the day, using this wall heater.
The directions say not to mount it on the wall, but their own website shows pictures mounted this way. I’m careful not to go off and leave it on high, unattended for more than a few minutes.
I do have a ceiling fan in the shop that pulls hot air down, so that probably helps with high ceilings quite a bit…fyi.
This works perfectly for my situation, and I’m very pleased with it. Hope this helps you to make a decision whether to buy.

A fine heater using radiated heat instead of blown, with a caveat.
To use this device properly, set the switch ONE TIME ONLY to “both elements ON” (I don’t use the light, that’s optional) then get an autotransformer or solid state dimmer (*) that can handle 1500W to adjust the heat level continuously. I had a similar heater with the same chain switch and it crapped out in no time. An idiotic feature. Gives you only 2 heat levels and burns out the elements needlessly,
prematurely and unevenly.

I live in the North East and winters are cold! I have a poll barn that I use daily and let me tell you these heaters are life savers during the winter months. Plugs in and warms up quickly! Just make sure you are aware of how many feet your trying to heat up as one may not cut it. I own 3 of these and taught a 4th incase of emergency’s so if piper gos out I can put one of these in my basement and keep the pipes from freezing and also provide some warmth for the basement.. These heaters are easy to install. Pumps out all the heat you may need and works grate! Just be advised you read the instructions on cleaning these as dust on these things smell horrible and they require a whip down every now and again.. Oh! and for those of you like my self trying to keep cost down these things don’t run up your bill all that much ,, Or at least thats what I feel, as I have used other electric and none electric heaters in the winters and some can be rather costly.. Anyways ive rambled enough .. if your looking for a good heater that is easy to install, reliable and pumps out the warmth your looking for then give this product a try..

I have a shed I use for feral cats and use tgis heater in it during the cold winters of NJ. Works perfectly. Solid, safe and lasts a long time before needing to be replaced.
Drawback: uses a lot of electricity, light does not last as long as the heater.
Overall a great product at a reasonable price.
Makes my cats happy and warm 🙂

The bottom heating element broke the same day it came from Amazon. If I could give -5 stars I would. Garbage. Do Not Buy.

No sean transas.

Used on a covered deck for heat and also in a greenhouse. Great quality, easy to use, emits a ton of heat, and quiet. Will buy again as gifts

This was a replacement for an older garage heater. It looks just like my old one except this one is a little larger so will be able to heat more space plus it has a light on it that is pretty bright to help you with your projects while it heats. It has two heating speeds to work by pulling a cord. Mounts easily to ceiling and can be tilted and angled where you need the heat most. If my 20 year old model is any indication, this will last you for many years.

This heater isn’t the highest quality but it works very well for the price. I have purchased other heaters the same wattage but this one seems to be a little better at giving off heat. Make sure to turn it on in a well ventilated area the first time due to the smell of things heating up for the first time. The mounting bracket was convenient and allowed for me to easy attach the heater to it after mounting.

I liked this while it worked, but that wasn’t for long. Mine lasted beyond the return period, then just stopped working one day. It’s powered, the little orange power light is on, but the heating elements are cold, as though a safety fuse had popped. No cause is apparent. I guess mine lasted about 30 hours total.
The warranty requires that you box the thing back up and ship it to the factory service (where?) at your own expense, which would cost half the original purchase price, and you’d lose use of it for how long? If it fails in the first 30 days, you can return it to Amazon, but after that, forget it. A warranty like this is useless. The item either works to begin with and stay working so you need not bear the cost and hassle of this kind of warranty, or you pay for the manufacturer’s lack of quality control.
With nothing to lose, I took mine down and took it apart looking for a safety fuse of some sort, but couldn’t find any. The failure appears to be within the four-position mechanical switch, which is not owner repairable as a fuse or loose connection might be. My heater is now junk in a landfill somewhere and I’m not buying this brand again.
