This is my 1st infrared quartz heater and I love it and it pretty much saved my life this winter.
I was skeptical but I took a chance and bought this one from comfort zone. And it was and is a godsend! I live in a very old house that’s in poor condition and my landlords are beyond negligent. This winter the duct work to the furnace was damaged from rodents over the last year but they didnt fix the problem they just turned off the furnace and left me without any heat source, which is illegal but suing them takes time and I needed heat ASAP.
Bear with me, the reason I’m adding that information is because this little heater is powerful and puts out a lot of heat. It is easily portable. I didn’t have to keep wearing a parka and gloves in my own home.
I can’t use any heater that is a standard 1500 watts, neither ceramic or infrared, without the power going down. I found this one for a good price in the beginning of February when I had no heat and it was, on average, 21° during the daytime.
I have been able to keep my bedroom and half the living room warm enough with just this one heater and it runs on both a 750 watt and a 1500 watt setting. I only use it on the 750 watt setting and it keeps me warm and warms my bathroom fast so I can take a shower.
I cannot say anything negative about this, not just because I was under extreme duress, simply because it does its job and then some. The fan may seem loud to some but doesn’t bother me at all. I can watch TV and listen to music and it doesn’t distract me at all. I don’t smell anythimg weird. I don’t have any problems with it cutting on and off because of a wire or had any problems like what some people have said.
I would have bought two if I could have afforded it this past winter. Even if it only lasts another year, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. I think it’ll last longer than that. it is sturdy it’s safe and it really puts out a lot of heat.
As for the icing on the cake? It did not double my electricity bill like 2 very small ceramic space heaters did that I bought locally.
Honestly, this one heater saved the day and night at a time when I needed it the most. Thank you Amazon and Comfort Zone!

We use it as an extra heating for small rooms when a little more hear is needed. Works perfectly for us! And seem to be of good quality too, held up to alot of usage this last winter.

I paid for a brand new heater with vertical heat lamps and received a heater that looks used with horizontal heat lamps. All of the lamps don’t even work. I want my money back. This was supposed to be a gift.

This was a great investment. The townhome I stayed in was extremely cold downstairs but warm upstairs during the winter. This heated my downstairs so well due to the size. Look at the dimensions. It’s huge, yet a perfect size. I did see comments where ppl said it cuts off. That is a safety feature. If you tip it over or move it the slightest bit it will cut off. Imagine having kids or pets. If they tip it over you’re down for a fire. You will need to shake it slightly to cut it back on if you turn it or accidentally bump into it. It does make hummus too on the highest settings, but nothing too annoying. It does have settings to turn the heat-ness up or down but no cold settings fyi. It’s just a heater.

Over all I am happy with this heater. I like this general size and shape for a couple of reasons but mainly it’s so I can sit in front of it when my back is hurting. The heat helps a lot. This one doesn’t put out as much heat near the top as it does in the middle and bottom of the heater which is a bit disappointing. But it’s not a big deal. Many reviewers mention how loud it is. I disregarded that as normal. Turns out it actually rattles a lot when it’s first heating up. A lot. If I am in the other room & my spouse is still sleeping turning this heater on will wake them up. So no heat early on cold mornings. Which is actually a huge downside. But besides those two things this is a great heater. It does what you would expect how you would expect

This is a good heater but the fan is too loud….so I used a long neck Phillips screwdriver and removed 8 screws holding the back section on, and simply disconnected the plug that activates the automatic fan…now it’s perfect giving off the right amount of plain radiant heat….!
