I can’t say enough good things about this system so far. Keeps the rooms cold and quiet as a church mouse. As for the seller, great customer support with quick responses. I had inquired about the wifi adapters but was not in stock. They just shipped me 3 FREE adapters for my systems due to the long wait time. Can’t get any better than that.

My unit kicked the bucket after just after a year and a half of use. I had it installed professionally by a licensed HVAC company, but C&H won’t honor the warrantee. Had another tech come out to do the troubleshooting, per C&H’s demands, and they determined that the inverter and compressor have failed. Parts cost more then to replace the entire condenser unit.
Make sure your HVAC installer registers the unit and call C&H to confirm, otherwise you’ll get burned like me and be out $5K for the unit and install costs. This unit has put me $10K in the hole, with the replacement costing me another $5K to purchase and have it installed.

I am still installing it and will update in a few weeks: Instructions are loosely translated from Chinese, they could be better, but OK. I bought the Olivia 28k = 9k+12k+12k. They do have a convenient template to drill anchors and cut wall holes. The gas and liquid lines coming out of the indoor unit are of different length by about 4”, that means that the outdoor lines would have to be re flared or somewhere bent to fit. (Do not forget to get a vacuum pump). The wiring instructions for the indoor unit was not straight forward and cable color code did not match unit color code. The no-kink drain pipe is a plus, but the connection to the indoor unit took some extraordinary work to connect.

This is to replace my old central A/C. Shipping is fast, it came within a week. DIY intermidiate skils and it came with all components. Curb side only. Haul everything component with a dolly 50 ft away.
Comes with a 25 ft line side. If the indoor unit location is more than 25ft order additional line side and couplings 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in. It comes with communication wires putty and wrap.
I have it in my master bedroom, living room and kitchen. I have access in my attic for the lines. I have to add a condensate pump to the living room. The other 2 rooms drains to outside.
Need a flaring tools and a vacuum pump.. had to order also a manifold gage adaptor, size 5/16in to pressure the system for leaks and vacuuming.
Overall very satisfied. It cools and warm the other rooms. You can download the app on your phones and controls it anywhere with a touch of a button. Indoor fan very silent. Unit is rated for 22.3 seer.. very efficient.. need to clean the filters more often is dusty area.
Another project coming up next year for the 5 rooms.

Mini split is awesome, 12000 btu cools my whole upstairs 600+ square ft with ease. Completely silent, keeps the temp a constant. Another 12k does the whole living room downstairs and a 9k in the office keeps our house of 2700sq ft cool. Crazy how well these things work with no noise. Sleep mode at night and turbo mode for a quick cool down. Rest of the time they just barely run and keep the temp right where you set it. The follow me feature pulls the temp off the remote, allowing you to cool more where it’s needed. The outside unit sounds about like a standard box fan on low… no joke. Install was easy with all of the how to videos on YouTube. Helped to have a buddy that does hvac for the line brazing and adding freon. Mounting the head units was easy, linesets weren’t that bad and the outside unit was pretty basic. Just make sure to wire the unit with the corresponding lineset a with a b with b ect. The seller was somewhat helpful but I got most of the important info online. Directions that came with the unit are generic and only help as a starting point. Very happy with the final results and would highly recommend this over noisy window units. Ps don’t be afraid to do this yourself, the warranty that comes with professional installation doesn’t cover much. You can look online at the website to see what I mean. It’s laughable how little they will cover.

So far so good! Do your homework and this is a very easy install. Lots of videos on YouTube explaining the entire process. For the cost of the unit and about 300 in tools you can have heat throughout your home.
Pros: very simple to install. Instructions are pretty straight forward and everything is well packaged.
Cons: no cardboard template to make your holes, and the factory flares were simply awful. Really glad that I had planned on replacing the flares anyway, as they would have leaked for sure.
I still have 1 more to install on the other end of the house so if I have any trouble I will come back and edit this review.
Also don’t fret over the warranty not applying if you do it yourself, the warranty barely covers anything anyway.
And in case anyone was wondering, it does advise that you cover the outdoor unit whenever possible with a roof of some kind. Extending the life of the unit is a no Brainer to me, but some folks might not think about it.

Finish installing the unit and has been running it for 1 month.
First of all tech support was excellent, called in the adapter to the compression tube was missing. The tech help solve what was the issue and shipped out the right set ASAP. Thanks!! The unit has an error code E1 so called in again and as always got the support ASAP. The contract hook up the wire incorrectly, re-wire and got that done and unit work like a charm. Unit run supper quite, when it;s on you don’t even here it’s running on the inside. The compressor kick on super quite also compare to my central AC you will notice whenever the compressor come on. Overall unit cool room well, I have a large Dinning room and it cool with no problem.
