The Costway unit is impressively powerful, efficiently cooling our garage, which serves as our home gym. The AC unit on the outside of my house broke and it was very expensive to replace so I needed something to help keep cool in the hot summer days we’ve been having. This unit can heat, cool and dehumidify. It was so easy setting up to use and it came with a remote so I can change the settings without having to touch the unit. It came with 2 handles and a set of wheels so it is easy to move around. I love that it can be set up to continuously drain with drain hose to drain port. This has been comfortably keeping me cool in the hot summer we’ve been having. I am so happy with this unit.

Set up the machine 2 days ago. Fan is the only thing that does what it’s supposed to do. Cool mode is just the fan. Dehumidify mode hasn’t taken any water out of my very humid apartment. Very cheap and fairly inflexible hose that pulls out of either window kit or body of air conditioner when you move the machine a bit.
I am going to try to set up via my patio door in the next couple of days, once my hospital bed is delivered. If it doesn’t work in it’s new location, I’ll be returning it. Returning it will be majorly stressful, as I am housebound. I’m not going to get ripped off for over $600 though. Really disappointed. My apartment is about 30 degrees right now.

I recently purchased this Air Conditioner and I am extremely impressed with its performance. It comes with a remote control and also has an app Control option, making it easy to adjust the temperature and settings from anywhere in the room. The window kit that comes with the unit is also easy to install, and the timer ensures that the unit runs only when it is needed, saving energy and reducing operating costs.
The air conditioner is also surprisingly quiet and It effectively cools down my room in a matter of minutes and keeps the temperature consistent throughout the day.

I have a very old house. Furnace was replaced to base board electric so central air us not an option. As an old house it is also has some odd shapes with additions. I would have preferred window ac as I have in 2 other rooms but living room windows are swing out hing style. That is why a portable with vent tube is the only option in that room. Selected this model for a few reasons. Wifi was nice but timer was essential. It said it has a continuous drain option but on install manual says it only works with dehumidifier mode. The drain for the on board water collection is super low to the ground. This makes moving the unit to drain a pain. I will have to figure a better way to plumb a drain hose. Supplied hose is very short. I might make a 2 foot stand to place it on so I can have it stay in place and drain into a bucket. Thats why a timer is important so I dont leave it running and have it over flow a drain bucket. But boy does this unit cool down my living room. A bit noisy but this is all ac units. No one seems to make a quiet fan.

I read the instructions 3 times to make sure I was operating the ac unit correctly. It came to me not charged and over heats. I have a room about 400 square feet and I can’t get it cooler than 90 degrees

This unit is so worth it considering it both heats and cools. It’s super quiet and is just like the name brand ones that are almost double the price. I use it in my garage and it keeps the temperature At my desired range without making my electrical bill astronomical! I don’t regret this purchase at all.

This neither heats nor cools, just blows room temperature air around the room. Waiting to hear back from seller, but fear it’s a waste of $600 and another summer of cooking in 34C heat. This senior can’t afford to keep buying useless products. purchased April 21

Very happy with this AC unit. Like most it is a bit loud so we have to increase the tv volume in order to hear. But that’s with any units. It’s not loud as in annoying or anything but it’s not quiet. Have realistic expectations. We have it in the living room and it keeps the whole house nice and cold. You need a fan to help circulate the cool air if you have a bigger place. We have 2 bedrooms and it’s great. Also, when ordering I was mislead as to when it will arrive. It came a week later then the date range. When I contacted the seller, she lacked customer service skills, never apologized for the inconvenience, told me “to have patience” as the Canada warehouse ran out and it’s coming from states. I asked where in states and she doesn’t share that info. Lacking customer service and communication. Just be aware – the date it says may not be the date you receive it with many excuses. I wouldn’t buy anything else with this seller. The product itself is a 10/10.
