I add essential oil to tank and worked amazing. I can breathe better after this product. Really really works amazing also timer option is pretty good. I set the timer and sleep well.

This little dehumidifier works on chilled plate technology. It’s the same principle as setting a glass of iced tea in a warm room – the moisture that forms on the outside of the glass runs down the side and collects on the table. In this case, the moisture forms on the chilled plate and runs into the collection tank.
Here’s the pros:
The unit is small and will easily fit in a closet, bathroom, or other smaller space without taking up much room.
The white/black color scheme is attractive and has a “high-tech” appearance – expensive looking.
There’s an auto-shutoff when the tank gets full so you don’t have to worry about overflow, especially if you leave it running all day.
Here’s a few cons:
Water collection (and resulting drop in humidity) is a slow process. I ran the unit for three hours in a 300 square foot room that measured 59% humidity and found about two tablespoons of water in the tank. The external humidity meter did not show any drop in relative humidity. I assume it’s necessary to leave the unit on constantly until it achieves the humidity level you want and then use the timer to maintain it. So, this unit is not a short-term fix to drop humidity levels quickly.
At the high operating speed, the unit puts out some background noise. It’s not bad and certainly can be used while watching television or listening to music, but it’s not silent and some may find it bothersome if they want a quiet environment.
There’s no humidity meter. And there’s no auto/thermostat-type switch to turn the unit on and off, based on the ambient levels. (There are controls for on/off, lighting, fan speed, and a timer.)
Overall, this little unit will help lower the humidity, but its effectiveness depends upon room size, temperature, and the existing ambient humidity level. Your application will determine whether you love it or need something larger (and typically more expensive).

using it in the closet which doesn’t have much ventilation and is situated in the bathroom causing high humidity. Ran it for a few days straight and see good water accumulation, easy to remove the container to discard the water. Does have a humming noise which would be another if being used in other living areas.

In my office I had this running for 2 weeks and i had barely 1/2 in of water in the catch. I live in North Texas and we have had rainstorms during that timeframe so interior moisture of the house hovered aroudn 60% and temp was typically 75 F. Their claims were assuming 80% humidity at 86%. So this will work really well in a closet that might get musty or in your garage to keep things a little drier.

I’m using the dehumidifier for my garage which is probably a little over the 950 Sq.Ft rating on this but it still works great. It has a 105.6 OZ water tank and when I let the dehumidifier run continuously (24 hours) it gets to about 1/3 full in four days. The dehumidifier has four timer setting including a continuous mode. It’s runs very quietly and I don’t even notice it’s on most of the time. The water tank is easy to empty and reinsert without any tools (just slides in and out). Works great for me.
