Working great so far! We have some humidity in our storage room in our basement and we placed this dehumidifier in there and it has been working great! We love the fact that has a hose too so we don’t have to worry at all to empty the container. It is super easy to use and we also love the silence mode.

I live in south carolina, humidity this year was a killer , glad we got this at it really works covered all my first floor around 1300 ft , has light , different colors so doubles as a night light , not entirely quite but not noisy as well.

This dehumidifier seems to not work sufficiently in a less than 1,000 sq ft area. My old dehumidifier collected much more water before it broke. Easy set up and it is quiet, just wish it worked better at collecting the humidity in my finished basement.

UPDATE: 9/23: it has started taking on a loud mechanical sound when I turn it on. .. but it happens intermittently and the window for return has closed. Amazon did send me manufacturer info, but I’ve called and emailed and no response. .. but in looking more closely at the website link that Amazon sent me, I think they sent the wrong manufacturer info. what a mess. if the problem continues to persist, I’ll follow up with Amazon to see if they’ll take it back. I’ve dropped my rating from 5 to 3… for now.

I bought this on sale for about $60.00. compared to a similar item at Lowe’s for $180.00, I feel like I got a good deal–as long as it continues working! I think instructions could be better, to get optimal use out of the dehumidifier. for example, I did some research and learned that it is better to place it up off the floor, and not near an outside wall or window or door, but rather in the center of a room or house, etc. . . of course, keep all doors and windows closed when it’s in use. there is a small white floater object nested within the water container, and when you go to empty the water from the container, you need to secure the small lid on top of the floater, or it and the lid fall out into the sink. I almost dropped mine into the garbage disposal. I live in a 625 sq foot apartment, so this dehumidifier more than covers my square footage.

We got a 5k sq foot one and that gets changed 2 times a day. This one we change maybe once a week? They both run constantly, but this one has a night light that could be nice for kids, but for us adults its annoying to get up and press the button each night to turn it off. It doesn’t do enough compared to the other 2 we have.

The first time I emptied the water, the float popped out along with the little lid that locks it in. I replaced it and no matter what I do, the dehumidifier thinks it’s full and will not function. In the troubleshooting section of the instructions, it says the fix is to “push down the float”. No luck, I am returning.
