Amazon Customer –
Works great, it is quiet and simple to use. I keep it in the main living area and the color and size is easy to blend into the surroundings. It has made a difference in the humidity in the room.

I live in an apartment on the third floor. The humidity was terrible this summer. Since I purchased this dehumidifier it has reduced the humidity tremendously. It’s very quiet and easy to empty. I did knock it over once and the safety’s feature shut it off. A must have!!!! The indoor thermometer hygrometer I have on top I purchased on Amazon also.

I’m happy with this dehumidifier, especially for the price. It is a small desktop size. The light is optional. As you can see by the water collection, it does work. I would limit this device to 200 sq ft for best results. 4 out 5 stars because it definitely can’t handle 800 sq ft, but otherwise functions well and the light is a nice bonus.

Works well and runs very quietly. I like the automatic shut off feature when full. It’s compact and easy to empty. Has really made a difference in the humidity in the room. Happy with purchasing – would recommend.

This is the first dehumidifier I’ve used, so I don’t have much to compare it to. But it seems to be working well, and it’s quiet. I like that it’s compact. It’s easy to dump out the reservoir (kind of fascinating to see how much water it’s collected from the air). I’ve found that it’s mostly useful after I clean the carpets- before purchasing this, I’d wake up in the morning and still have slightly damp carpets after cleaning them before bed. Now they’re dry in the morning, so that’s useful (with lots of pets and lots of kids, our carpets get cleaned frequently).

This is the perfect dehumidifier to make a room less muggy! It’s not quite powerful enough for a large space, but what it lacks in power it makes up for in being quiet, low heat, and efficient. Would recommend!

I’ve owned a dehumidifier for 20 years, the same one, a Maytag that’s held up like a champ to the miserable steamy moisture of the southeast US, where it seems God is trying to punish humanity with humidity. Our Maytag was loud, heavy, & kind of annoying, but the amount of water that beast pulled out of thin air made it worth any inconveniences. Pure magic. There’s nothing like escaping the thick muggy heat & entering an AC-cooled house that’s also had the mugginess sucked right out of it. That’s air you can actually breathe, friends.
For frame of reference the tank on our old one held approx 8 liters, so like 4 two-liter soda bottles. And it filled up every 24 hours.
Sadly, after years of use, several moves, & even after being totally abused as a foundational brick in a stacked storage unit & still working great for years thereafter – it recently died. 😭
Panicking, as the moisture levels in our home quickly returned to Rainforest & our tempers to those of wild raging jungle hogs, I hit Amazon in a dedicated frenzy. I was delighted to find this one – it looked great, had good reviews, seemed wonderful. I was thinking wow society has come so far, what could be easier than this? Haha fate, try again, I thought, going to sleep congratulating myself on my successful efforts. $70 for an “awesome” dehumidifier? Take that, Maytag. Psshht.
Opening the door to this smurf-sized surprise on my doorstep the next day literally made me burst out in what can only be called maniacal laughter similar to Tom Hanks’ performance in The Money Pit when he finally totally loses it. I stared in total disbelief. I’d been had.
Still holding out hope & desperate for any relief from the enveloping stickiness, I quickly read the manual & plugged it in, praying that somehow, technology had indeed come this far: that it could shrinky-dink-magic a real, working dehumidifier into this tiny, pellet-sized, blue-neon-beaming toy that now presided in my living room. I put it in the same spot as our old Maytag had sat, its gorgeous, heavy, dent marks still embedded in the carpet … 😪 … this little speck of a unit paled in comparison size-wise, sitting next to our Maytag beast it looked kind of like its newborn baby brother, at at least a full foot shorter in height 😂🤣 but it shined so brightly, I kept hoping – the bright blue light of this one temporarily warding off my humidity-laden foul mood.
It sat there, quietly puffing away, giving me hope …
It was as humid as a wet sock in our house, so I’d expected it to start pulling out moisture pretty quickly. But after 2 hours there was still … nothing … in the reservoir tank. Not a great sign, since our old one would start tinkling into its tank about 5 minutes after startup. But I refused to rush to judgment. 5 hours later, there was indeed 3 droplets of water in the tank. Wow.
For kicks I let it run all night, praying sweet Jesus would deliver me from the summer-humidity-instigated family slayings in our house that would no doubt be coming. I didn’t know which one of us was going to be speaking on Dateline & which of us would be behind bars but it all seemed too inevitable. We’d all been spoiled by our old atmosphere-adjusting actually-dehumidifying dehumidifier.
The next morning, the Smurf, as I now call this $70 Barbie Mansion air blower, now had approx 3 whole teaspoons of water in the tank. Bravo!
I still can’t help but laugh, though the rage is just under the surface of my sticky humidity-drenched sweaty skin. The manufacturers of these newer units are completely screwing with us. NORMAL dehumidifier descriptions advertise how many pints in a day (PPD/Pints Per Day) the unit is capable of removing. And how many pints (or gallons) the reservoir tank will hold. While 86oz or whatever the number was for the tank on this unit SOUNDS impressive, we all need a fresh elementary school math-time reminder that 1 gallon = 128oz. So that was my 1st mistake, not putting that 1 together. The tank on this holds vastly less than a single gallon, much much smaller than my old one I was hoping to replace. Secondly, I don’t even recall seeing the # of pints per day this 1 was supposed to supposedly remove. Bah humbug.
Lastly, & this bit was not my fault, despite the mini-muffin size of this electric shoebox, it just Does Not Work. I could literally hold a spoonful of water in front of a fan, or perhaps even blow over it with my own breath, & remove just as much moisture in just as much time as this Waste of Time. It is not a dehumidifier. It is barely a fan. It sat in the same spot in the same house as our old well-performing Maytag, & whereas that 1 drained at least 200 some oz on the daily out of our muggy air, this 1 only managed to literally pull ALMOST 1/4 of a CUP after now almost 2 days.
I’m hoping there is a miniature lost city somewhere that all these newfangled miniaturized appliances, clothes, coffee filters, thimble-sized toilet paper rolls, toe-squeezing too-small shoes, unintended crop-tops, armless “t-shirts”, & the like can all go to be happily used by little bitty baby hobbits. In the meantime, size-flation is reaching its peak, it’s gone way too far, it’s consumed way too many fossil fuels as customers have to (after having the trucks deliver the items) now trudge back to a return location, all because someone in China thinks we all should just physically shrink to better fit their mini-skewed business model. Please stop the insanity!
I am determined to soon add photos of this unit next to our old one, just for fun.
Good luck shopping, it’s a jungle out there. 🥂

Works awesomely, not super expensive, runs extremely quietly even on regular mode. When I turn off the lights my husband can’t tell if it’s on!! Has a good size water tank and I love it automatically turns itself off when full. You can set it up when it will empty itself but I haven’t done that. The machine has a small footprint as well, about the size of a $20 metal electric heater. Would definitely recommend!!!
